FFXIV - Fan Service - What would you like to see from which Final Fantasy?

Well you do have your opinion. But us Final Fantasy fans are here, and we do deserve a little treat every now and then.

So every time a new main game comes out you expect direct references from previous games? I've always taught that subtle references from previous games are one of the best things about the series - not direct ones.

But I know we'll get them. So, nothing to do about it.

FFI- Red Wizard!! How is Red Wizard in FF1 but not in any other Final Fantasy. It's proof that wizards are superior to mages, you have to be a mage to become a wizard. Even an eggplant has the title, I have it in my bazaar to prove it.

FF6-Ultros, I don't understand how some people can hate him, he is pure awesome. In fact if Ultros and Hildibrand teamed up, I think Eozrea would explore from the win they would make.

As much as I am a fan on the FF franchise, I want to have as little fanservice as possible.

I don't mind names, mobs, creatures being ported from other FF games. Heck it's what makes an FF game. All the iconic characters and such. Summons, sure I don't mind those either being given as fanservice.

Areas and zones. A big NO-NO.
I don't mind them giving them FF names that we know like gold saucer and such but make it completely fresh and new. Sure, I'd love to have sky (ru'aun gardens) in FFXIV. But I want it to be something completely new. Something to even surpass the old one.

Out with the old, in with the new please. Although I really want them to be inspired by the other memorable FF zones. But for the love of god, make it something new and fresh.

I would like to see a reference to Terra and Kefka from FFVI. Having FFVI magitek armors is also truly epic!

I'd like to see famous final fantasy quotes like if you click on a random npc they'll say "I dreamt I was a moron." or if they implement a mail delivery service the npc will say "No cloud, no squall shall hinder us." something like that.
