    How would you feel is level caps were integrated with the Main Story quests?

    A thought occurred to me, although probably one of the more unpopular ideas, what if things such as level caps (EDIT: Synced instances) were integrated into the progression of the Main Storyline? It would allow for IMO, a much more "Final Fantasy" feel to the game (initially anyway). This could allow for a much deeper story filled with more boss battles and team oriented challenges (at-least for players starting from scratch).

    Only if I can wear my level 50 gear and have it scale down to the cap. I don't think anyone wants to have to keep gear sets for different levels when we already have 7 classes to keep track of.

    No. Level caps just fracture the player base even more and create unnecessary barriers towards progression.

    Level caps should never occur ever again.

    Level caps will be fine if they don't do it CoP style, and make it more like Level Sync. Accommodate my gear instead of me having to buy multiple sets.

    I think it's more important for players to experience the storyline content than being presented with limitations that could prevent players from completing it. It's important for players to be able to progress to the top when content is meaningful; if they can't, they're forever ostracized in their own little twilight zone, and that doesn't promote healthy growth of the game.

    I'd love it. It's nice to have some lower level content that a new player can't have level 50s steamroll for them. It help keep it interesting for high level players that are helping new players as well since the content will still be challenging for them.

    I like the idea, since it would be more beneficial for newer and lower leveled players (the ones who's going to actually save this game xD) than it would be for people who are already capped out on everything -- stuff like It kills with fire, that shouldn't allow people in over level 25 because that trivialized the hell out of that quest -- while it's good to blow past things if you're playing catchup, you have to admit the quest would be that much more fun in a group of level 25 players than going in with 3 others 50s and have them 2 shot Ifrit.
