Do people always over price items?

Maybe its just because im newer to this game, but Im doing the research and some of these itmes on the market are cost waaayy less to make than people sell them for. Its not that I cant afford the weapon... its just I dont wanna feed someones greed.

Example: Ash Composite Bow is being sold for 50,000 on market.

Ingredients: Antelope Horn (16,000 per unit). 2 Ash Lumber (800~1000 per unit). Mole Sinew (100 per unit). .... All together thats 18,000 to 20,000 to make!!
