I'm pretty sure Eorzea destruction will be part of the opening CS of ARR. I don't see how they technically can destroy Eorzea, shut the game, and make sure everyone has seen it.
Unless they find a way to exploit the file corruption people encounter when bugging in market wards so as to prevent them from logging back.OR, anyone who achieves the final quest gets sent in a place from which one can't run away. Well okay, these are possibilities.
