Darnus all the way. The shadow lord was just a sad galka and missed his woman, I would've done the same thing. But Darnus is a pyshco and a true villain. On top of that he has a gun halbert!
And yea when I saw mega flare I instantly made the connection to bahamut.

I never looked that far into it. But you do strike a very good point and also makes some sense if you think about it.
Perhaps the Allagan managed to seal Bahamut in the past and decided to send him far away from them. It also might not be a coincidence that Bahamut and Dalamud practically sounds the same. Perhaps it's actually how the allegan's pronounced bahamut back then.

i think dalamud is a prison for Eikons in general not just bahamut
