Operation Deepground. Ridiculously Difficult?

Would really like to know if SE intends to re-balance these leves seeing as how so many of us are finding them even harder than ifrit extreme.

It was made harder in patch 1.23, so I can see why some people are having more problems than before.

It seems to me the main point here is the difficulty of this leve in comparison to the other relic factions.

I don't think the "Psh play better or gtfo noob" attitude is very useful especially in this case.

I may be wrong but i think every strategy suggested involves leashing mobs. I do not want to believe that SE wants us to play this way. It doesn't feel quite the same as running away from mobs in darkhold in order to despawn them.

I would be happy enough to understand why. Is it really because WAR gets off easy in the SB dept? If anyone does decide to give us an answer, do me a favor and tell me why PLD and BRD share materia required for this quest while you're at it.

just have to get lucky getting a party that really knows how to play there job #1 thing cant think on your feet you fail regardless.
when you lose people blame people or blame equip but i been in plenty of partys when people had garbage equip and we win and the party that lose all the time with pertty much the best stuff in the game.

get a group make a plan then do it. throw blm's at it no thx.

In a genral rule of thumb sort of way, i agree with you. This very particular instance i feel does not apply. To me, something feels off about it. Please do not take offense and correct me if i am wrong but i have a hunch you haven't tried this leve.

i mean, i dunno, but didn't a lot of people specifically request more steps in the relic questline to be difficult, rather than simply relying on RNG?

Sure, fine, difficulty yay. But what is with the disparity from one relic faction leve to the other? It is really a head scratcher for me. Maybe some people would be happier asking for the WHM relic leve to be more difficult. Sort of the same difference.

I love how people post asking for something to be nerfed because they can't beat it. I'm sure SE is fine with this guy wiping to it, that guy wiping to it, and that other guy wiping to it, but if YOU wipe to it, well, their heart just bleeds and they'll go to work immediately making the proper adjustments.
