Honestly, I don't really care for how the Yukata look. They've been doing a decent enough job with gear that matters. And stuff like this will hardly ever see the light of day. It's like seeing people wear those reindeer suits. Nobody actually wears those anymore, right?

I'm ok with them as well, but do a quick image search for yukata, and the real ones are all long...

You can find images of the short versions, but they are all on models and apparently seldom worn in public.

It could be that Eorzea just has a shortage of weaving materials to make the long ones..

Hmm... the Yukata.

I was hoping for long styles, since the Vanya has displayed to us that to the ground style is something that they are willing to do.

I am disappointed in the lack of pattern though. I had hoped for something more intricate and detailed like that of many IRL Yukata and Kimono.

The colours are very nice, happy and suiting for Summer.

The length would not be so much of a problem if only the style were more... sylish. It does look like they meshed waist and up with much more love then the thin strip of nothing on the thighs.

It only takes a very quick google search to see what the Yukata could have been while opting for this super short style

I am not complaining, these are better than skimpy swim suites in my opinion and I am happy just to get an event! I am sure next year we will have more fun things to look forward too. Think positive!

These Kimono are better than the Sunbreeze Festival ones from FFXI as well. Those were just shirts~!

You're going a bit overboard here.
If we had to decide on every insignificant detail this game would be in ruins already.
You can't please everyone. Now it's you, next year it will be others. Just accept that.

Quite the opposite; if the devs got more input from the community they wouldn't upset/disappoint as many people.
