I thought one of the complaints was due to the lack of the classic stuff.
Anyway, something Thiefy and/or Samurai-y would be nice.
I can just picture it now; the off-hand equip for Samurai would be "other hand", then the skills get really crazy

Why do you guys want jobs that are in ffxi back in ffxiv all the time... want to play Dark knight and red mage go play ffxi i for one would like to see (Shock and Horror) classes that were not in ffxi i loved all the starter classes in this game because they were different with new ability's for use gave the game a feel like it was a new game not a rehash of FFXI.

I want new jobs but really what is the point to making a new MMO if all your going to do is make it a ffxi clone.

All jobs from XI have appeared in past games in some shape or form. Just because the same thing exists in concept or name from a previous game in the same franchise doesn't make it a ripoff.

Oh god...who I wouldn't sacrifice to the blood gods to have Thief finally put into the game.

Problem with jobs like THF, imo, is that combat right now is so vapid that you'll never really be able to utilize your skills.
