Seems like alot of funstoked!

Seems like alot of funstoked!
Currently playing: Fire Emblem Awakening & Tales of Xillia.
I accepted to play FFXIV knowing the time until 2.0 is just a filler, yet I whine when they add new types of content because the rewards, for which I don't know the details yet, do not please me.
Ifrit Extreme =/= related to Umbral Era storyline. Ifrit Easy/Garuda Easy and Hard versions are related to it, you do Ifrit Extreme under a different quest line.

English is not my mother language. I'm trying to do my best, so please don't be rude...

<3 Nooomy!
I hope they start adding weapons and gear with unique skills that can only be used if you wearing said pieces of equipment.
While you normally may not want to equip a weapon because the stats suck. The ability to cast a unique skill/spell with the gear is very interesting and enticing.
And yet she's being sent to open world. The whole reason they're doing instance fights after you claim them on open world is easier to manage for quests. So I'm still waiting to see where he confirmed he's no longer planning to remove the current form of fights due to storyline related reasons.

It sounds like he is removing the story related primal fights, not the hard mode ones. My guess is once you interact with Garuda, you get sent to the instanced battlefield that we fight in right now, just adjusted to 2.0's engine. And yet she's being sent to open world. The whole reason they're doing instance fights after you claim them on open world is easier to manage for quests. So I'm still waiting to see where he confirmed he's no longer planning to remove the current form of fights due to storyline related reasons.
That's pretty much what he stated. They're roaming > claim > sent to an instance. It's really the only way to handle it.
