Whats a guy got to do, to get a organized quest website?

I mean dang man. No matter where I seem to find info on quests online. Its just a pain in the rear to try to get easily accessible information pertaining to the quests in the game. http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Category:Quests Has a nice beefy list of quests but um, looking at a glance on this you have no idea what the rewards are, which citi-state they belong to, or even maybe what grand company they are for. I found myself in a situation where I wanted to know which grand company quests I could go grab to get some seals.

And I knew there were some I could do in all of the citi-states so I wanted to know where to go online to, hopefully, quickly find those quests, and get to work on them. On that same website you can further narrow your search, if you do a search for grand companies, and click on whichever grand company you are. But its hard to tell which are the actual story missions, and which is the ones you can just go do to get seals. I suppose the indication of rank being a requirement is a good indicator its for a mission. Mooglebox was apparently going to work on a quest database, but the voting process on that site lead to doing a bestiary instead for the moment. I'm sure when/if they complete a quest database it will probably be what everyone is looking for.

I don't know, I'm just finding it really tough to get information on quests, or have a nice list somewhere online that is well organized and easy to read threw. Anyone understand my rambling or feel the same way.

Yeah the XIV wiki is pretty terrible. So useless.

XIV pads has a quest tracker. It shows you all of the quests, GC quests, primals and basically everything you would need to know and shows you maps on where to start them. I dont really ever use it cause i like to figure stuff out in game so idk if it tells you steps on how to complete it. I do know in order to use the tracker you need to register your character though.

At this point? Go build an organized quest website.

But yeah, I agree with you, nobody has built a solid database for quests like they have for items. Part of the reason is that many of the quests may be gone in 2.0 and ppl would rather not put the work in until they know what is going to stay.

Try going to the subsection of quests you need instead of just going to all quests, makes it a lot easier to navigate.
