    Just wanted to take the time to say that I'm so delighted that he's in the game. After the original Inn quests, I didn't like him...but after the new set of Inn quests, I think he's hilarious. His partner as well. Its wonderful to have some ridiculous humor thrown in amongst all the seriousness of the game and the Dalamud plot.

    So, thank you devs, he was a great idea! (I hope we'll see him again. Even in 2.0)

    I agree! FFXI never had this kind of humor. It kinda reminds me of how funny some of the WoW references were.

    Since I've never liked the character that cowardly hides behind a couch while someone else does all the work only to come out and claims credit for doing the things the second guy did, I find Hildibrand extremely annoying.

    You need to watch more anime... they have these type of characters in some hero animes...
    Mr. Satan from Dragon Ball for example...

    I haven't gotten any of the new cutscenes to trigger yet.

    I found him pretty amusing in the first three quests though.

    With the item you get from Ul'dah Inn first sleep in Ul'dah and you'll get it, then Grid then LL last - at least that was for me

    And this time he's out in area as actual NPC so you can take pics with him....
    I missed it... orz - saw it on wifes PC when she was doing the quest...

    I watch plenty of anime, and I find the type of character in most anime I mentioned extremely annoying as well. It's one thing to hide behind a couch, and another to claim credit for something you didn't do - but to do both, that's just retarded.
