    Exactly, and people still need to form a party of 8 for loot.

    And people do this, over and over, killing Ifrit 1000 of times just for Loot.


    You still have your group aspect.

    It is basically how it is now, just unrestricted.

    Hell it kind of already exists, you have Mini-Ifrit, Mini-Garuda, but they still require several players. But sadly, this is only in Primals, The same doesnt exist else where.

    You have already seen people will happily do Ifrit several thousand times for Loot, thus requiring 8 people.

    edited, but i'll do a new post. I don't care a shit having loot for story missions, because should't be a mean to receive loot to begin with. There's plenty of other content to do it.
    When i do storyline, i expect story, don't another item farm. Rewards at a storyline's end it's a thing, rewards every single fight it's another

    Or you could just create all of the content around partying because it's an MMO, and not waste time creating two separate versions of every piece of content in the game~

    Feel free to help out every single person that's been shouting for 8+ hours then and still unable to get a party together because everyone else day 1'd it and refuses to touch it with a 20ft bargepole :X

    Also wouldn't be all content as mentioned in previous posts. . . just storyline.

    Great you dont care, but hey guess what, you're required to have 8 for loot, thus if you just want story, but want to be in a PT of 8, then you still can, as people still doing the content in PT of 8. Not only that you can get 8 friends and go do it.

    But there is still the option to lowman it.

    Its win win, everyone can do it, I can play solo, i can get a friend, or someone else can play with their loved one and not have to stand around shouting in Uldah all day when No one ever helps on this "MMO".

    Ya'll can keep bashing the "Its an MMO" but so many people dont play as an "MMO" Player...

    People who keep complaining with the excuse of "ITS AN MMO", I garauntee ya'll hypocrytes who never help anyone out in shouts and just stick to your friends and LS, Diablo 3 is more "MMO" than this game lolol.

    But I do! I regularly help others shouting for groups, and often times get rewarded by them helping me with something else

    Also, isn't there a planned content finder? That should solve any issue you have if it's competently done

    Also, 8+ hours is a ridiculous hyperbole. I've gotten groups for the most obscure quests in 30 minutes. Does that happen often? Maybe not, but if the fish aren't biting, change gears and get something else done and try later. Alternatively, get a group of friends/linkshell that will help you out. I help IRL friends with anything they need because we're, well, friends

    MMO's are about social interaction. If you're looking for a solo experience you're barking up the wrong tree. Don't invade an inappropriate genre and then demand that it's changed to suit your needs, ruining it for everyone else, just play a different game. Should there be solo content? Of course! We already have that; leves, crafting, gathering, and that's all fine and good, but the bulk and majority of content should require a party, that's the whole purpose of the MMO genre existing

    Sorry, but group story content is fun for a lot of people.

    Making a special copy of it to grind for loot isn't quite the same thing as struggling to progress through the story making it more meaningful.

    I get it you don't agree, but your solution isn't exactly a "win-win". It is just a repeat of how the game was at launch, walk like a zombie through story content (where the most work was put in to crafting a background for "why" you have to fight X), then getting to group up for content that is designed for grinding loot.

    I want both, because progression doesn't only have to come with gear drops. Keep group encounters for certain key moments in the story like XI, and like the game has been designed recently.

    ....or listen to you and just go back to Tanaka's design which failed horribly.
