Who exactly is we? if youre gonna rip into me for stating something that is questionably inaccurate. then i would make sure that people who DONT PLAY ALL THE TIME know exactly what they need to do for the quest. Also when youre making a guide you want the information to be correct, not based on hearsay. his guide stated you needed to get the 9 seals BEFORE you got the GC item which is COMPLETELY WRONG. you can buy the GC item as long as you have the rank to purchase it. And based on TEXT FROM THE GAME. it says the book helps distinguish fake seals from real seals so if NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE, then one would assume you need the item first. i would trust the game more than some asshole on the forums.

cuz because it says 10% drop rate doesnt guarantee that every 10 times you attempt something you are gonna get 1. i basically think of it as a sliding scale where if the drop rate is 10% then 10% of that scale means you get the drop and the other 90% means you dont, so if the scale is 1-1000 then when you "roll" only 100 of those 1000 numbers are successful.

Can someone please confirm the question that has been floating around about if you only need one "Soiled Promissory Note" and then you can repeat the quest starting after that point? If you truly need to grind GC and Primal seals 7 times that really is rather daunting/mind numbing.

Help me out Sniper or Amanda or someone else who knows xD

no one will know or be able to answer this until we get the finished quest in a later patch

So wait... since the quest can't currently be completed, does that mean that people can only have 1 relic at the moment since they cannot complete and retry the quest?

Couldn't they just progress to the maximum level currently possible, then abandon the quest and attempt to start it as a different job?

they cant even get 1 since the quest cant be completed

Though from the way it was worded, it just seemed like it was a pre-requisite to get the "A Relic Reborn" quest period. Just going off what we were told but it didn't seem like a part of the quest "A Relic Reborn" to me. My interpretation is that you give Gerolt the note to unlock the quest, get the quest and at that point it becomes a repeatable quest. I could be wrong though as I haven't gotten that far. Someone else might be able to confirm at which point the actual quest "A Relic Reborn" starts.
