Why would you buy +1? They cost more than double the price, yet only give you +4-5% more on the materia meld.

Rather just buy 2 NQs and try my luck that way.

hes also comparing dynamis now to dynamis back when the relic was relevent there

the comparison does not work unless you look at dynamis back when you still needed rather large parties to do it.
and money can not be a factor in it cuz it isnt a factor here

you have to do a fair comparison of the facts, otherwise, they arent the same thing anymore and can not be compared.


and yes, 30% could end up in ALL fails for dorps in 100 runs, but guess what, you could also end up on the other end of that and get 100 drops in 100 runs! omg whoever thought that could happen

the point viion is that dynamis was just as much of a RNG as hamlet is. The point is if you don't have a group to pool up the drops to 1 person its going to take a lot of hours to get the seals (150hours is a good estimate). You can't really say that 150hours for a full group of 8ppl to have all 9 seals is unnacceptable can you?

some mathz:
2k dynamis runs => 2-3hours per run (includes gather time/setup etc)
300 hamlet runs => 2 runs per hour
------------
dynamis is going to take around 4,000hours or more to get a group each a relic
hamlet is going to take 150hours to get a relic
------------

Yes its RNG based but a 30% RNG is going to even out very quickly after 300runs I can guarantee you have 70+seals and could just as easily have 130seals (this gives a good margin for error) since you only need 8(players) x 9(seals) => 72seals total

Oh right because I have been super negative about the 2.0 stuff recently? Stop having a closed eye on one thing.

The comparisons work, I have played XI since 05 and still play today, good 7 years of my life and been through everything. Many friends obtaining relics even multiple. Because they always progressed. Even back in 05, 06 1 person would always get the relic, either by passing the bills to him or him sponsoring (cuse ya know... 1 behemoth hide, or 1 scorpion harness back then paid for a run.... wasn't exactly difficult lol)

My comparison is fair, because the comparison is based on th efact that ALWAYS in dynamis, you would progress. YOU WOULD ALWAYS get something no matter how much qunaitity that is, you always got something and always progressed. It was not random weather you progressed or not.
