I hope you understand the RNG is going to be part of everything you do in some way / shape / form.

Luck is always going to have a factor in things. Hell Relic weapons aren't even massively related to RNG for the most part aside from needing a handfull of items dropped and a sucsessfull materia meld. Unfortunatly the game NEEDS time sinks at the moment wether you like it or not it's pretty much all we are going to get content wise until 2.0 releases and they don't have developement focused in two areas.

Relic upgrade quest was easy to implement because it uses currently existing game mechanics and content.

Hell even your list of suggestions has alot of "Luck" based elements in it.

Step 1 - Earn 25,000 seals and buy the key item "On the Properties of Beastment"

This is disgusting. I want to quit the game right now and never return.

How can SE expect to revive the game if stupid systems like this exist?

This is HUGELY de-motivational if true. If 2.0 has future systems akin to this, it will fail.

Everyone was whining AF was easy. Now, they listened and made this shit. Why can't we have the same system for AF weapon as the ones for gear.? Plus, one primal for per world at 2.0? Really? Talk about farming. Guess the casual style went down the drain at 2.0. Why can't you instance the primals and put like 18 ppl or 24 to kill. Someone gonna hold the primal for 2 weeks! Prolly Only top clans. The small ppl and clans won't ever see a primal in their life. I don't know, but if this game becomes a lineage 2, which you can't get to any bosses because people farm them 24/7, I will give up and move on.

Well, I gotta say.. I would actually like content like this in the game. That stuff thats a huge process to get so that when you have it, it's like an actual accomplishment. It's not like people have to get the AF weapons on patch release.
It should take some time to do things of large magnitude.
I think what should be hoped for 2.0 is content to do in between while you get things like the AF, on the side.

Edit: Not to say that the AF weapon requirements shouldn't be lightened a little bit, but again, for a select amount of content to be this strenuous to acquire would be pretty cool imo.
Edit2: Also, that Karma system mentioned page 1 would be pretty awesome.

Pointless to argue. People claim they want measurable progress, yet if requirements were made to take a long time (ie. 100k k

How can you say it's difficult? Is hard to attach a materia to an item? You just need luck to double meld, it's not based on skills. Can take you 1 attempt or 2000.

Completely agree. I refuse to even attempt relic weapon. Insulting.

That's just like... your opinion, man. What is it with the NA players wanting INSTANT GRATIFICATION at all times for everything? I can see getting a system to make random drops more obtainable, such as the totem system, which could do with some more consistency. But complaining that it will take you a long time? that is like me complaining that it took three years to get my Duelist's Chapeau -1. It was a random drop, and a damn rare random drop at that. Right now, these are the penultimate weapons, an achievement that is akin to relic weapons from ffxi. it WILL take a LOT of time and effort, and guess what, after that time,it will feel like an achievement. Though you may just sit and whine that someone somewhere got it all on their first drop.
if you want to quit the game over this, go right ahead, im going to go dump another $70 in crysta into my account as an advance to the dev fund.

Although it is frustrating, and often maddening, if you are here to play the game for at least another 7 years, rather than go play the newest and prettiest MMO that comes out every 6-12 months, you will eventually get it and more.
