I'd say we're already getting an "improved" CE. It's just called Legacy lol it's comes witha lifetime 9.99 a month price tag and a unique Chocobo mount. I'm pretty sure though that if they did make a CE out of 2.0 whatever is in it will be a given for those with Legacy status.

Though in order to have CE edition of something it has to be worthwhile to get, I mean it's harsh to say but rebranding this game and pushing it off as 2.0 doesn't really qualify itself to be given the status of CE. They could attempt to sell a CE of 2.0 but I highly doubt the sells would be good, they just need to focus on moving the product rather then offering 2 types of the product normal and CE.

I don't want them to make another CE for the people playing, and they wouldn't. They are giving us that stuff for sticking with them, that doesn't count for the people not playing at the moment, that is who the new CE is aimed for. And people like me of course.

Sincerely doubt that you will see X-Box360 anytime soon. SE tried negotiating with Microsoft early on but the talks died when Microsoft insisted on linking the game with their Gold Membership <in a typical Microsoft money grabbing move>. SE almost dropped them years ago when Microsoft tried the same thing with FFXi

I do think that SE should provide a little something extra for those of us who purchased the CE edition in 2010 and stayed with the game. Maybe an in-game item of some worth. Issuance could be linked to Legacy Membership

Microsoft doesn't want any game passing though Silver Membership period. despite what you may think the issue is with the security of the platform. XI proved one fatal flaw in the XBL framework you could piggy back though Silver Memberships allowing you to play for free on the XBL platform.

The only CE update I could see them doing is a package deal for the PS3. Which most PC owners will most likely buy that for the sake of having FFXIV on PS3 as well, myself included. So hopefully with the PS3 CE they can add some new and exciting Yoshi-P oriented future content plans, art, and goodies! P.S. Hi Daku
