Actually that's interchangeable.
Omega Weapon used the Ultima Model with a re-skin in the FFVIII version.
And again in FFX-2
So the confusion is understandable - and justifiable.
We don't know if we're getting "Omega" or "Omega Weapon" in this game, if the latter, then that artifacts picture could very well be it. More likely to be Ultima though.
Well it ca be true
We all know Magnus sis in FF and in 11![]()
Dafaq?Botting is already done throughout the majority of the community, so I don't see how people would really mind tbh. They already solved the botting problem with HNM though- Large spawn areas and random pop times. If they really wanted to go extreme, they could do what they did with Sandworm and Dark Ixion in FFXI. Personally, I loved scouting for them, so I hope something similar is introduced in the future.
No, large spawn areas with random times just insures that there will be more distributed bot abuse.
And there is a significant difference between botting Leves and Crafting and Botting HNM claiming.
Note: They're both wrong, but the differences is their impact on the game. ANYONE can do Leves and crafting - it's so easy that the botters will have a minimal impact on the economy.
World Bosses, historically, drop one-of-a-kind items that will draw attention and desires of the crowd, and Botting will tighten the bottleneck unless a readily accessible alternative loot path is made.
Although I liked both Dark Ixion and Sandworm mechanics, they both suffered from the same sort of bottleneck that can very well choke the economy of a game or, if U/U can narrow the access of the loot pool to cheaters.
Now, I'm in support of World Bosses, but I want it to be done right. Put bluntly, in order for World Bosses to work, and not appeal to cheaters, there has to be an alternative means of acquiring the same loot. Otherwise, people will just invent a better bot.
I've stated this before, but the FFXII system of a 'hunters club' could be utilized here and modified for a currency/ranking system, with a loot pool dependent on which monsters you've successfully hunted. Each NM is given a value for kill and some loot is only accessible once you've killed specific NMs. Then you can rate the value of each loot drop individually.
The HNMs can still drop these items, which can be traded in for bonus points (In the case that it drops to you and you can't/won't use it). But for those who don't want to get stuck in the bottle neck, get caught by RNG or don't want to be stuck hunting the same monster over and over again, all have options.
World Bosses won't feel like bottle necks anymore, and feel more open. Instead of camping Mob X over and over and over again hoping he will drop. You go there because a member of your team needs him killed, and you're hoping for a lucky drop. If not, everyone who participates gets points towards the loot they're hunting World Bosses for. The competition is against the game, and not your fellow players, as PvE should be.
As others said already not always.Omega is the mechanical bringer of destruction. You're looking at Ultima.
Botting is already done throughout the majority of the communityI would LOVE to see your evidence to back this up. While there is no doubt botting going on, I have yet to meet a single person who does it. I sincerely doubt the botters are the majority, or even a third of the player base.yet most people back in 2010 botted Leves and Crafting.
Did you not play in 2010?
Then you don't know many people who played in 2010 that still play today. It was very obvious given how popular the craft bot was doing especially since a lot of their excuses were "the horrible interface lag makes this excruciating". If it's not "the majority" or "even a third", it wouldn't have been that popular. It's exactly the same as the Necrologis pages exploit, which I figure you'll also say "I have yet to meet a single person who exploited this to level."I have yet to meet a single person who does it
It was near unlimited exp for 1 leve, you really can't believe no one took advantage of that. It really wasn't any well kept secret or even looked down upon because since people felt SE didn't care about the game, they didn't give a crap about using the bots since SE wasn't enforcing anything. I think out of their 2 year run they only actually banned people for this stuff once or twice.
