Yea, that's true... we've all kind of moved on to what we think the images are...
And personally... despite the "Behemoth concept art crisis of 2012" I'm actually enjoying the little contest. Trying to figure out what the pictures could be is actually pretty cool (And not as easy as I would have thought)
And to be truly honest... I like this better than just revealing the pictures. They could do this for more concept art between now and 2.0 and I would not be opposed to it

Yeah, I agree. Actually, I think it would be cool if they did something like this with screenshots as well. You could even tell me "this is going to be a screenshot of the interior of Ishgard" before even revealing any tiles, and I would be glued to my computer monitor to see the reveal of every new square.

in french, the CM message says "plusieurs fonds d’écran avec une image exclusive de FINAL FANTASY XIV version 2.0 seront disponibles", it means :
some wallpaper with an exclusive screen FFXIV V2.0 will be the reward.
So yeah, it should defenetly be the first real screenshot from V2.0.
