I wish the word entitled would not exist anymore on the internet. If you pay for a service you are entitled to an opinion, though admittedly whining and complaining doesn't help, consumer feed back is very important for a company. If they fail to listen to the consumers, odds are they end up with well... what I've heard 14 was when it released. I really like 14. Hell, I really love Final Fantasy. I love Square, I mean they're the people (or at least some of the people) who made the awesome games that I played in my childhood and still play. But if they were to release a crummy game well... I wouldn't play it. Everyone on these forums knows that 14 has potential (I think), and if Square has to sift through a couple of threads with a little bitching to find the good, innovative feedback that helps them to create a better game, then good.

On another note about E3. I really hope they do release more than CGI. CGI is not gameplay, is not content, is not anything but eyecandy. It's nice but only if there are other stuff backing it. Releasing only CGI will hurt them I think. FFXIV has nice CGI but look at what happened. I want to see user interface, I want to see redesigned areas, at the very least some pictures.

If anything, this thread is nothing more than a case of "if the shoe fits". Most posters in support of this thread have already given themselves away in that regard. Sorry.

It's quite possible that the Japanese text might have reflected that the art wasn't new on their side, whereas the opposite occurred on the NA and other sides since the art is actually new. Differences in localizations are built into the game even(see ENG Marauder vs JPN Executioner).

Given that .dat mining is against the ToS, naturally they aren't going to account for things you shouldn't have already seen anyway.
