It better be aimed at old players, you know the ones who have stayed with them for over a year and a half now still waiting for an acceptable excuse not to wonder why; not only our hard earned money but also our precious time wasted on a stupid assumption that "It will get better."

I think it's appalling that they would use concept art they have previously released. I mean seriously, put some thought into it. Show us something that doesn't say "We're too lazy to care." or worse "We think you are too stupid to notice."

I have seen those images online, no CE required. Just look up FFXIV concept art. Please SE, you were doing so well.

Yoshi, I know you are working hard but you shouldn't go as far as giving me something you already gave to someone else. It's in poor taste.

1) Its only ONE concept art ( the other ones I can't make them out)
2) They are showing us what will BE in 2.0 ( Hence the Behemoth Concept Art, and it could very well be different, Yes its a behemoth.. but does it look different in anyway shape or form?
3) SE DIDN'T lie They are only showing us whats going to be in 2.0, that alone should get us excited to see these 4 things in the game.

Yeah that's cheap. They didn't say NEW CONTENT... they said NEW CONCEPT ART that they had "painstakingly procured".

Both are untrue in the case of the JP one. But maybe people in Japan didn't get the same concept art as English

It was worth its own thread, because this is an insult, I am just thankful it is not the only image, hopefully the other 2 show something new and not something we've seen countless times in interivews, live letters or that book.

That said, what is in game has absolute nothing to do with anything, this is the reveal of new concept art, not the reveal of new ingame stuff, or the reveal of new 3d models, its NEW CONCEPT ART, which is old.

If you release a movie, and maybe a scene doesnt make it, that you had the concept art to and showed people that art before, then you go and make a big scene about this whole new concept art, people gunna be like "bro, thats old", identical to this!

There is nothing new about this concept art.

Saying that, I find it odd that it is the Japanese who are getting the fib this time.

Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions, but why would they show us concept art in this way if it weren't going to be in the game? So rather than whine that the art is not really new, we should be looking forward to the new content that the concept art represents.
