i was surprised when she was announced. The question ill ask , will she have a song to sing. if you know you know( warframe)

I think the article saying that she has a "surprise" for her fans makes it pretty clear she will sing.

I am not too deep into the Vtuber topic but even I know who Ironmouse is given she is a very good and very well known singer with a large fanbase.
She is also known to play FFXIV in her freetime anonymously like other Vtubers do.
She, Fubuki and Ina are pretty well known to be fans of the game, if only in private.

I am happy for her fans, for Koji who seems to be a fan of her and I am also interested what she will do.
Imo a very good choice.

So, insulting may be a bit dramatic, and I do wish the best for her and her performance, but I can see why some people feel confused or disappointed.

There isn't really a reason to be disappointed imo because it doesn't take away from anything.
Those who are uninterested can simply ignore the whole thing, those who are interested might like it and the fans are happy anyway.

Imo this is honestly a better idea than some usual content creators.
For one thing because of a different target audience.
The other thing (though just my personal opinion) is that all the content creators are just niche in their focus with most of them being raiders and the big ones already get to go to the media tour.
Of all the Vtubers Ironmouse is probably the best choice because she is big, liked, known to play the game and genuinely a nice person.

Perhaps. It just chaps my hide to see square pass over on so many talented people who DO work with their community to make content about their game over.. this. Guesting for a song sure, but a panel? I cant wrap my head around it.

Why not just be happy for those who do like her?
She plays the game, what more reason does she need, a minimum of streaming hours?
Like I wrote above, it doesn't take away anything. The usual content creators still do their thing. It's just a nice bonus for people.

She is fine, one of the most popular english Vtubers. She just doesnt stream due to that popularity and some of ffxiv community bombarding her. Im guessing she got together with CS3 after Cdawga and the rest of Trash Taste, close friends of mouse, got to visit CS3's department at Square Enix HQ.

I agree that it is a weird choice.

I mean, I DO understand their reasoning. They want to use her fame to market their game. Fair and simple logic.
But still, it leaves me a bit confused. I think they actively are going for a younger audience right now. That kinda didn't work with Dawntrail already, so...yeah...

Also, I just pray to god she won't actually sing a song for then game like some people are speculating. Because we don't need a "Smile" 2.0. x_x

I don't really know who Ironmouse is, but it sounds like she has a lot of fans and is a fan of the game herself, even if she isn't a super fan or creator devoted solely to FFXIV, so I'm not sure I see a problem. There are other FFXIV content creators who will be involved with fanfest so it's not a snub to them either.
