I'm fairly sure mr. Soken and the music team has been producing plenty of high-quality themes each expansion and they could spare one for "pay attention now" cutscene instead of recycling Cid's Theme over and over and over and over.

Compared to the ascian themes across previous expansions, when you heard their theme, you knew "oh snap, something bad is going to happen".

I can't remember moment where machinations.mp3 would not feel like nothingburger and just filler for more MSQ stalling and more (rarely important) lore buffer. Or maybe it's a subliminal audio cue for "you can safely skip this" ?

Please retire this song completely. full stop. The meat has been chewed 40 times already and it does not resemble food anymore.

What we need is more, and a raid series with the music. I don't see the hate in this track myself, it's a part of the game's history, mute the music if you don't like it

This game just tend to overuse some tracks excessively, like how Fragments of Forever would play on every 'heartwarming' scene, how Dragonsong is used for every dragon coming on screen except Midgardsormr, etc. it's so much that some of my FC members even have a FoF count while progressing MSQ

Signed, I am incredibly tired of this track. I love Soken but this particular piece is so overused that "fatigue" can't even begin to describe it. They should have stopped using it years ago. Plus it plays 24/7 at the Wolves Den which is bad enough.
