How would You Feel about a Honkai: Star Rail Crossover?

I'd rather see other collabs than one involving Mihoyo's mid gacha games.

Even their highly praised Zenless Zone Zero fell off hard with the 2.0 season.

Ironic blanket calling Gachas slop when many of them put out more fleshed out content like events, minigames and more in a quicker pace than FFXIV does.

One example of a 2Gacha slop event":
- 12 Event story episodes
- 12 Event missions
- 3 Event Hardcore Missions
- 1 entire ingame TCG
- 3 seperate reward pools

"Muh superior FFXIV event":
- 5 Minute cutscene followed by 3 minute cutscene
- talk to A, B, C talk to A
- 1 poster
- 1 piece of glam, maybe even one entire glam or mount if youre lucky
- shop sells firework slop

One being a usually f2p the other a box price + expansion price + sub game.

Story is subjective tbh.
For me for example BAs Volume F story is superior to FFXIVs ARR, HW, SB or DT.
Gameplay... I tbh haven't played many gachas to know if most are bad.

Sure there most likely are many bad and p2w Gachas but there are also many bad and p2w MMOs.

But when it comes to something like events.... srsly FFXIV should stfu.
They are absolute slop.

They should put Gold Ship from Umamusume in the game but not tell anyone. You just randomly stumble upon her in some random corner of a map. Anything but training.

As indifferent as all the other collabs. They have never once done media I care about, so I just ignore them.

Please keep gacha slop away from ffxiv. I don't want to see it. The reason I don't play gacha games is because they're just skinner boxes designed to funnel you into spending tons of money to really enjoy the game, and I want that type of design kept far away from ffxiv. At least in this game I can just pay my monthly sub and enjoy the entire gameplay content of the game. I don't want the devs of this game(or worse, the shareholders) getting any wind of the anti-consumer practices in gacha design and then implementing that into this game.

You haven't played a good gacha game, have you? Because the good ones pretty much allow you to play freely, and you only spend money on things you *really* want. At least that's how it's been for me with the handful I've dabbled in.

So, like, what keeps you playing ffxiv and the current sub for this month?

You haven't played a good gacha game, have you? Because the good ones pretty much allow you to play freely, and you only spend money on things you *really* want. At least that's how it's been for me with the handful I've dabbled in.

Gacha is not free it's funded by whales, children, and gambling addicts it's not really game it's more like a casino is game but no one is saying hey the entry to the local casino is free and everyone can visit it so it's the best place ever to lose large amounts of money for fun.

Oh, I've played ones I enjoy, even now I actively play the likes of Blue Archive, Azur Lane, Kemono Friends Kingdom, and Zenless Zone Zero.

But I also know a lot of them are average-to-garbage, and I would include Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail in that list. Even with regards to ZZZ I haven't been a fan of the stuff they've been doing lately and this last story patch was the first one I skipped through because I just can't be bothered to care about those Thiren siblings and their melodramatic mystical swordland adventure, or how I think Rupture units and miasma shields were a mistake in general.
