Time Until New Glowy Weapons For Viper?

Like the title suggests, I'm curious how long it'll take for new Extreme Trial Glamour Weapons will be added for Viper. I started playing in late '24 and got caught up during 7.2, so I'm unfamiliar with how long it takes ETGWs to be added to the game after their respective expansion.
My Phantom Weapon is holding me over, but I really hope we get Valigarmanda glamour weapons soon.

It usually takes years. We only have 1 glowing weapon from Endwalker so far and they arn't even done adding them for Shadowbringers EXs.

Earliest to expect should be 8.2, that's when we will (possibly) get VFX Skyruin weapons.

Beyond those, you have Relic and Ultimate weapons, those have VFX as well.

I could have sworn Yoshida mentioned something about how this is something they were going to implement in DT. Going back all the way to ARR relics. I was super excited about it at the time.

i would love this. ive personally been wanting it for ages.

They could do it in next expac. Have geralt go on a trip down memory lane where you need the ARR relic plus the others then you can get the next expac one
kinda like how theyve done the moon relics.

it would be SO not liked by the playerbase. but honestly everything gets complained about currently so at this point why not XD

we dont get them as regularly as usual in DT.

They've been kind of slow this expansion with giving us glowing extreme weapons. The last one we got was Hydaelyn in 7.2, and the prior patch was Diamond Weapon. We're also still missing Warrior of Light weapons from Shadowbringers, although they did something similar in the past where it took forever for them to release Susano's.

It'll likely be a long time before you see any glowing Viper weapons from extremes. If you want something else that glows, your options are to do Palace the Dead, Heaven on High, The Omega Protocol (Ultimate), Futures Rewritten (Ultimate), P12S, Aloalo (Savage), or ranked PvP. There really isn't a whole lot out there at the moment. I honestly wish they would go back to old content and add weapons for jobs that didn't exist back then.

I've wanted this since Shadowbringers. I'd KILL to see Gordian/Midan/Alexandrian gunblades (The TEA one is just a reskinned Mt. Gulg one) or a Hades scythe.
