Please add a pity system for dungeon gear!

I'm tired, boss. It's been over 20 days since I've run Mistwake once or twice a day, and I have 45 items, but not the Scouting, Healer, or Tank tops are still missing to complete my glams

Yes, I've seen them drop during my glam farm, but I've always rolled too low, or I got tons of dupes, materia, and useless accessories that I can't hold them anymore since all my alt jobs have 1 copy all ready for their gearset. It's super painful that only the 1st and 3rd bosses can drop the top, but so far it's all downhill for me, really tired of not even getting like gloves, helms, or boots that I'm also missing instead I get nothing each time after 15min.

It would be great to have a pity system added, especially if it is going to be possible to put dungeon/raid/alliance gear into the dresser as an outfit

I finally got my missing leg piece yesterday, it took over 50 runs of Copied Factory to even *see* it, and thankfully I got it as soon as it did, but it was still a miserable grind, it is in that threshold of, the chance of it showing up is just high enough to feel I should've gotten it long ago... but I have it now, still, some sort of pity system, even if it was a harsh one like, idk, run 10 times for each piece, would've been incredibly helpful.

Agreed, especially since the system exists in the game already and just isn't applied to "high level" dungeons. At the very least, everything but the current patch dungeon should have it (and I personally think it should just be on everything, because I don't see the problem with helping players catch up to endgame if they join late in a patch cycle).

For alliance raids, just make it so you can exchange one of the tokens for completing the raid for a piece of gear. This could be activated as soon as the raid no longer has a "one piece of gear per week" restriction, so for all the older raids it'd just be on. I guess they'd have to add a token to CT, though...

Damn, I didn't know the true meaning of suffering until I saw the 2 missing pieces of gear drop during my EXDR and I lost both rolls lol.

I'm still cursed to run mistwake now once a day with DS, but it's still v tedious as I've gotten nothing all week and the weekend is almost over now...

Finally got the scouting top from the last chest on my second DS run last night. Takes forever with the NPCs but at least it paid off. Only ended up seeing it once in runs with actual players and lost the roll for it.

Definitely felt this pain before trying to get the caster top from Ghimlyt Dark. I'd be perfectly happy if they put all of the dungeon pieces (and 24 man pieces, etc.) on a vendor for Poetics. Maybe even don't add them to that vendor until after the content is current to keep encouraging running it for those who can't wait so as to maintain an available player base for roulettes, but put it on a vendor eventually. No need for special currencies or pity systems, just use a currency we already have in game. Heck the cost per piece could even be set at above what the stat value/iLevel of the piece would otherwise be to just have this be more of an option for those with really bad luck as opposed to the "optimal" way to collect the items.
I know I would have been more than fine with dumping every Poetic I had on that casting top when I was trying to get it.

I wish they’d do this… don’t really have anything to spend poetics on anymore.
