It means sooner or later you will run afoul of the very rules you disdain and be banned i.e. the problem (of a rude person) solves itself. They call it an affliction because to all appearances and by your own admission, it is something that causes suffering to you if not kept in check. I hope that is an adequate explanation.

caregiver.. technically speaking and if anyone laughs I will haunt you but it means essentally im a "little" and tend to regress and have little to no controll so my partner is like the real adult.. to handle me and help me with things while keeping me in a space due to personal reasons while i am an adult im not really if that makes sense, he acts as my daddy taking care of me and my mood i mean i do job stuff and bring in money but day to day.. well ya

and its not r instend to be rude.. its called extreme emotions the intent isnt to be mean its just in defense the kind of thing like well people in the past on discord said it was like i was throwing a temper tantrum but im not .. its called emotions everyone has them Im just not a drone like most people

as for cg thing its hard to explain honestly.. fully anyways with my history of.. episodes its kind of needed in my case

Uh oh, it seems we've reopened an old can of worms. In good faith I can sympathize with mental health struggles but it absolutely does not excuse being rude or disruptive. If you are having an episode taking it out on strangers in an online space will not help you recover nor will it place those folks in a good position and could very well trigger one with them as well. A moderator is more than justified to temporarily remove a person dealing with an episode. If your caregiver would be unhappy seeing these posts then I suggest you take a minute to reflect on why that may be and consider stopping engagement with these kinds of behaviors.

For what it is worth, I normally scoff at the whole 'this npc talked about doxies (prostitutes) giving him the pox, therefore this is an adult game' but here would concur that the lyrics ain't very appropriate (top/bottom in particular has until very recently been a purely pornographic term and remains very frontloaded). Puts one in mind of those 2000s era pop songs that were blatantly 'sex sex sex' yet managed to get away with it on a technicality.

P.S. Not laughing at the need for a caregiver and do have more to say on the matter however this isn't really the space for it. You can hit me up ingame if you want to talk.

For the record I don't disagree that the lyrics are sexual in nature. I just don't think player interaction is comparable to in-game content. Like I said before, discussion of themes in a cutscene will feel vastly different to someone trauma dumping or doing your quests and suddenly you're stuck next to people flooding your chat with e-sex. Plus, you know how people will make Balmung quips whenever someone starts pushing the line with lewdness? Imagine if the whole game gained that reputation online. It's perfectly reasonable for moderation to want to limit that kind of talk to consenting people, a.k.a. the ones who won't report it.

"Now get down on your knees, I'm asking please"
    "Release the leather"

"A little more I'll give you more, I couldn't choose this honey"
"Under my heels, twist and turn, I don't hear a safe word"

    My problem is the inconsistency.

The game's rules and the GMs are crystal clear: we have to keep things PG13 in public chat. Why? Because, as a GM told me when I got warned for calling someone "cringe," I should "assume someone could be 13." That's the standard we have to live by.

So then I log in and hear this song, with lyrics that are deliberately sexual to an extreme degree.

My question for Square Enix is simple: Are you aware your players can be 13?

If not, why tell me to assume I'm talking to a 13-year old?
If so, why make a song like this?

It's the definition of "rules for thee, but not for me." As players, we're held to a strict, family friendly filter in our words. Also if I repeated these lyrics in Limsa Lominsa's shout chat? I'd get a violation faster than you can say "safe word."
    everything within the rating tho.

I cant find rating for DT in particular on ESRB site (i am also not from NA so dunno how it works and for me the game always was +16 via PEGI) the newest rating there is FFXIV HEAVENSWARD https://www.esrb.org/ratings/33926/f...v-heavensward/

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood, Language, Sexual Themes, Use of Alcohol, and Violence. (...) The game includes some suggestive/sexual material: female characters dressed in revealing outfits; camera angles that pan suggestively on bodies; dialogue that states “[s]tay clear from them two. Gave me the crotch rot, they did!” Players occasionally encounter characters who consume alcohol (e.g., “Jussone more cup, littlemann! Hic!”). The word “sh*te” appears in dialogue.
I don't think you would get warned/banned for quoting the song.

however choosing your words in public towards another person is a different thing. GMs or code of conduct being weird is YET another (since there were stories about being banned for spamming holy in public or giving advices unasked)

These lyrics also aren't "sexual to an extreme degree", they're innuendo at most. This existing doesn't suddenly give you the right to say vulgar sexual things in public chat and most people really don't want to see that.
