They were probably going to give us the Galatea outfit as a reward but decided it would be better to make money off it so they upscaled an old minion instead and then threw in a poster that should of been available last year.

If this was 2015, we would of gotten all three, plus a table set or something. You would then have to do some weird FATE against Galatea to obtain tokens to exchange for the various rewards.

Doubtful. They have sold old bosses as mounts in the past, like the Cruise Chaser and the recent zombie cat boss a few months ago.

It's very hard for me to parse that an item that is already worn by an NPC in the game wouldn't be able to exist as a player option without a cash shop. Like I trust the devs have the capabilities to be able to rig it themselves, if they cared to, as they have done with other NPC outfits that they gave out as event rewards. Just that they're happy to throw that over to the cash shop people to rig it instead because they know it will bring in mad stacks of cash.

absolutly no need for it, its a event quest which is once a year, it doesnt need any kind of effort, give me some mount and glam and im happy, why would i waste time with a event quest?
