if they would allow for people to all have the same house size this would not be the issue for so many people but that doesn't solve scarcity this archaic system is by design a predatory practice forcing people to stay subbed to keep it so the auto demolition ends up being trivial from the get go cause no one wants to let go of it cause getting the damn thing in the first place is so mind numbing an ridiculous

I mean, is it really forcing anyone tho like if someone realizes they disliked FFXIV and unsubbed longer than 45 days, they can just move on from the game? Also, many ppl have abandoned their homes, as seen in the last NA demo timer started it released 1k+ plots back into the world on all DC. Finally there are many open S plots available if they want to come back later w/o any bids too...

Yes, there's an odd exception like John Doe, who kept his sub active for 2-4 years for a house alone, but this is more of the exception than avg ppl who will decide 1 day to save $13 and put it towards lunch today. If the game no longer is fun or boring, it's time to quit and let the house go instead of resenting SE for allowing housing aimed towards ppl who login often to visit said house.
