I'm not a particularly rich player, I took very long breaks, and didn't spend a lot of time making money when I ought to have been, but Sartori, really it's your loss. Other people will make this armor, there's not an issue that it won't be made.

You SHOULD be able to get at least a 50% HQ on the ingot, and you should always double down if NQ, so you're going to average something like 1 and a third coke per piece of armor, so about 133k in coke. As long as you're selling the end product for more than 200-300k you're making a profit, and they should go for much higher in the interim.

I understand your point but implying that "other people are not like Green" is freaking dumb. I'm an armorer first, this is new armor, I'm definitely going to be making it.

try again. Why are you buying your ls gear instead of raiding for it and selling the extra?
Also, why arnt you making SB pts with your ls and breaking down things that sell for 400k still? you could make 10 mil in 1 hour if you get int IV, str IV, and vigors IV?

If you want to supply your LS, supply them with gil, this armor isn't necessary for anything. Make it and sell it. What a billion gil has to do with anything is beyond my ability to comprehend. I don't have a billion gil either, I explicitly stated that I am not a particularly rich player. Is your definition of not particularly rich a billion gil?

You don't need a billion gil to make this armor. Coke drops to 50k during lv2 supply, so you need 50-200k depending on luck per piece as far as coke costs go. The darksteel is maybe another 100k, or 0 if you mine it yourself. I don't see what the issue is? Do you want to have to invest 0 gil in every item you create?

Also, what is this about greed? Are you implying that anyone that sells items for profit is greedy? I make items for my LS mates for cost of materials or at a lost 100% of the time I am requested to make an item, or someone needs something. That doesn't mean I don't also sell things for profit to other players. The point of playing DoH and DoL is largely to make profit.

the quality bonus is 8/10th of the actual quality gained
So if the flawless doesnt count as a +1 then starting at 350 that would be(264% x 10 / 8) 330 increase for 680

Why would anyone try to craft the finished product with an NQ part? They should have started with 500. If you don't HQ the part, you double down. In which case, you go again if you break it. Not complicated?
