Concern Regarding the Ongoing Silence About the Promised Housing Update

I wanted to share some thoughts following the most recent Live Letter. Many of us have been eagerly awaiting news on the long-promised housing update. It was stated that housing would be addressed this time, yet the topic was absent from the presentation entirely. No slides, no visuals, not even a general outline of progress.

Instead, we were simply told that more time is needed, without any indication of how much time or when we can expect concrete information. After nearly two years of complete silence on this update, it's extremely disheartening to see yet another opportunity pass by without even the smallest detail or acknowledgment of what’s happening behind the scenes.

At this point, given the complete lack of visible progress or communication, it's hard not to assume that the housing update has either been significantly delayed, or worse, deprioritized. It feels eerily similar to the situation with Viera hats, where we were left waiting for years with no clear updates or timelines.

Unless the developers are willing to make a clear and honest statement about the current state of the housing update, I’m left to believe we won’t be seeing it anytime soon.

I say this with respect and appreciation for all the work the team puts into the game, but the silence on this issue is deeply frustrating for many players who have been patiently waiting for years. Under these circumstances, I will assume that housing is off the table and not worth waiting for.

It sounds like SE has carved up CBU3 like a cake and they don't have the resources to develop the game anymore, even with 5 months between patches. They're barely able to copy + paste on time. End of service coming in 2026?

Because it's a hype trend they are actively doing. Make you hype, feed on it and always get disappointed when a new patch comes. Then be happy again when a patch / live letter is announced. The cycle repeats.
Then you will become brainwashed and one of players with: ''I am happy if they just bring me a single bread crumb, I don't mind''.

For Beastmaster, it was stated right away that it would be 7.4 or 7.5 feature.

Yeah I've noticed the game's deterioration since the changing of the guard there. New CEO is like the Dan Snyder of video game companies.

His predecessor is the one that sold the overseas subsidiaries to go all in on NFTs. SE's lacked competent leadership for a while.

I have the same feeling, but at this point my spark is gone to be hyped about essentially anything.
