Now imagine something happened and you were hospitalized, and even tho your sub is on auto-renew (assuming) you are stuck for 2-3 months unable to leave the hospital bed. Now you get home and everything is gone, your memories, your guestbook, your items, your house, your plot.I'm currently on a break, only logging in for my houses. I don't feel heard, and even if housing-fixated players may be a majority there are still lots of other people like me in this game. Glam and Housing is the reason i come back to this game, and i don't see much will to change it, nor transparency regarding the obvious problems in housing.
I don't feel recognized as this kind of player anymore and I'm sure I'm not the only one getting tired of waiting, being treated like the appendix of the community.

Why FFXIV’s Housing System Is Failing Its Players, and Why It Must Change
I actually was hospitalized 2 years ago and made my parents set up my laptop for me while i was bedridden, for that particular reason. Whether this was a healthy approach, I'll let someone else decide. Now imagine something happened and you were hospitalized, and even tho your sub is on auto-renew (assuming) you are stuck for 2-3 months unable to leave the hospital bed. I think it's utterly ironic that a game-developer who preaches that it's okay to play other games, has a system in place that keeps you dependent on a sub.

You're hoping for way too much imo.
PS4 Support, ancient game engine and an infrastructure that's under invested in.
My guess is as follows
50 / 100 / 150 indoors
10 / 20 / 30 outdoors.

FYI it appears the housing updates have unfortunately been moved to 7.4. Yoship's words from the fan translation of tonight's live letter: "I am seeing comments about housing. Increased number of placed items or the interior upgrades, we're almost done but we need a bit more time, sorry."
I was expecting this in 7.2. Now I have to wait even longer? They should have cancled Mahjong voices and chat bubbles if that was eating all their resources to take care of the housing update. It was the only thing I was looking forward to in 7.3 and now I have nothing interesting again ...
I am immeasurably disappointed. If its "almost done" and they just need "a bit more" do what they did when they updated Forked Tower a couple weeks ago and drop it in its own patch.
Waiting until 7.4 for a feature that they announced in the first Fanfest and touted as a "main expansion feature" is honestly so discouraging?
So frustrating. The item increase shouldn’t have to be grouped with the interior upgrades either. One can be implemented, and should have been, way before the other.
Housing update delayed again! Are they serious? This is getting ridiculous! We're waiting for ages for this!
I told you so, they are stalling it AGAIN... it is not fair that they cannot live up to the promise and what worse is, that they are not even giving an explanation, eg we need to to a couple of small things first in other parts of the game such as fixing forked tower or similar and that the housing thing will be delayed 2 weeks or whatever.
