I just came back, saw my inventory at full capacity and was ready to close the game. We urgently need a 3rd free retainer, or a complete overhaul of the inventory system. I'm not one who usually complains, but we keep getting more and more newer items, and I personally like decorating houses and store a bunch of seasonal decorations. We've had 2 free retainers since the game launched (maybe, I joined in 2015). We got a few extra storage spaces, but nothing since. The level 80 relic is eating like half of my chocobo's storage :c

We should of gotten a new retainer free with each expansion.

Do you not see that I'm a viera? I criticize square all the time. This isn't criticism, it's a shallow comparison. Wow has blah blah blah. I'm not on the forums to talk about another game. And especially not to compare what they have versus ffxiv like it's some kind of competition. That doesn't properly address any legitimate issues the game has.

Its about the effort to improve things. I'm sure it takes lots of work and hours invested to overhaul wows bank storage code that really is in an acceptable state. yet they are doing it. When compared to what our devs are doing which is zero effort and outright telling us they have no money to do anything this game is essentially dead.

making a glamour catalogue / wardrobe / collection and turning ALL tokens into currency would be most wished things in terms of inventory management. that would be better than getting more inventory space.

a glam collection would trigger perfectionists and collector to farm the heck out of the game. (more than these terrible achievements ever could).

and grinding new trials til you got everything and then throwing away all the tokens is a nice imagination but its not something you should expect from all players (i guess if we had a glam collection you could just farm all the weapons so you truly have no reason anymore to keep the tokens... as long as you have the mount)

I can see your point, however I do not have issues with Glamour eating away my invo (as of now). Mostly food, materials, consumables in general, and a lot of housing exterior and interior items. I'm not going to spend 500k to repurchase a housing item that I'm not currently using, or drop $5 every season to repurchase seasonal items just to save on space. I'm better off getting a retainer, but it's really not my fault I only get so much space after 4 or 5 expansions worth of new items. I stopped doing relics because I do not have inventory space to store all that crap.

I'm not saying your suggestion is not needed, just that it's just one of the many issues currently affecting storage.

dye box,materia box,garden seed box for housing convert all the raid exchange items into their own thing so they don't take up space.
