Don't disagree - but to be honest, the first step would be to funnel more of the money the game makes back into the game instead of throwing it into useless mobile game projects!

It's sadly reflective of the forum "community" at large when people seriously act like a cosmetic item put on the shop should somehow be a massive scandal or breaking point for anything...

All that talk on the live letter about how we didn't get a normal mode for FT:B because it would cost too much and then immediately turning around and announcing this genuinely feels insulting.

Aside from the misuse of that quote from the LL, you do know the people working on something like FT and the people creating cosmetic gear for the shop would be two entirely different sets of people, right?

A game with an active sub shouldn't have a cash shop.

The idealist in me agrees with this sentiment. The realist in me realizes that thought went away long ago. Personally, as long as a game with sub has only cosmetic items in its shop, I couldn't care less at this point. Where I'd take issue is including P2W elements in the shop (things that actually improve your character and can only be obtained through said shop).
