We joined OC, waited for the right weather so the FT opens, put in ciphers (OP put 6, i put 1) and entered, while the "premade" was there, but they never said they were premade so they got angry when we got in and griefed by not reviving and making us lose levels.
So from now on everyone learn from this important lesson given by your lords Oblivion and Neclord: you want to do open content but you see players who aren't from your party waiting to do it too ? leave or you'll get divine justice.
Bruh, they called the parties being ready in chat. You saw that, it's literally in the VOD, so OP stacked ciphers to ensure a space in the tower. That was intentional malice. Also, if you die to the personal mech on boss 2, that is extremely on you. Same for everything before boss 2.
Midcore is when you take a look at an Ultimate, nod along sagely to a guide and decide to do it when you get 12 months of uninterrupted vacation, which is to say: never.

This is a separate conversation but there has definitely been a trend towards smaller-scale content over the years.
Hard content in FFXI was generally done in an 18 player alliance.
I never played EQ but I think raids were generally 54 player?
WoW started off with 40 player raids.
WoW now tends towards 5 player dungeon content and 10-20 player raids.
FFXIV revolves almost exclusively around 8 player raids with some notable exceptions.
You lose part of the MMO grandeur when you reduce the player numbers, but you also remove a lot of the frustration. With every player that you add, you also add a point of failure. When you're raiding in a group of 50+ players, statistically, you need everyone to be able to complete the content with 98% consistency, otherwise you're just sitting around waiting for the attempt where no one makes a mistake.
Forked Tower is not an amusement park. It's a piece of content that people are working together to clear.A Fru kill party is a static group. No one has a right to be in your group. But Forked Tower is more like a roulette. Random plyers are placed in an instance. They aren't equivalent. Not raising in Fork tower is equal to not raising in an alliance raid. There is no "leader" in random placed contents. And everyone got the right to be there. It is not "your" instance. It is everyone's instance.
There are completely different rules between static content and open content. This is open content. It isn't your static. Your people don't own that instance, everyone in it does.
This is the difference between public property and your house. The static is YOUR house, you get to decide who comes and stays and what they do in it. Fork Tower is the public property, you haver no rule over it and every is entitled to if if they have access.
You are making false equivalences.
You do not get to harass and grief someone for coming to the amusement park if its open to the public. You are trying to section of a part of the park and tell others they can't play in it unless they follow your rules. You aren't the owner of the park, you do not get to do that. If people aren't breaking any terms of service, too bad. Nothing requires you to go in there with them. It is your choice to engage in the content with them. But its not your content to control. So get over yourself you entitled elite.
PF is open content. It's just behind a menu and party description. Do you lose all inhibition and moral judgement just because the method of entry is a glowing platform? I suppose we now know why breakfast cereals do better when they have a cartoon animal as its brand.
Why are you running up, targeting and emoting at the guy whose group “didn’t say they were premade?”We joined OC, waited for the right weather so the FT opens, put in ciphers (OP put 6, i put 1) and entered, while the "premade" was there, but they never said they were premade so they got angry when we got in and griefed by not reviving and making us lose levels.

Can you point exactly what messages you are talking about ? So that i can better iditenfy them later on.Bruh, they called the parties being ready in chat. I have all channels enabled and i didn't see anything.
Once again that's not me playing. Get your facts straight. Why are you running up, targeting and emoting at the guy whose group “didn’t say they were premade?”

I love the FORKED TOWER. It provides not only PEAK enjoyment but also a lot of salt, wasted words and tears. Everytime i enter the Occult Crescent i want to turn my mind off and grind away like a mindless drone and patiently wait for the right weather conditions to get access to my most beloved content piece, the FORKED TOWER. But before i can enter it, i need to experience the struggle of getting all my raidmembers into the right instance. It fills me with such excitement having to go through that procedure EVERY time. Then i will turn my clock to 30 minutes and get to experience the joy of missing out on fates because they die to fast. Oh boy, now it is time for my favorite part. The last step before i can FINALLY (maybe) enter the FORKED TOWER. Going to the ruin, waiting for the right weather conditions and enter my cipher. But wait, what is this? I spot some cool peepos that are not in my raidgroup. Oh boy, here we go! Time for some GAMBA and see if i actually get my slot to enter once the platform starts glowing. I look at my party members: ''You got a buff, good for you.'' Then i look at myself and notice i don't have a buff. Gl team, i will respectfully twiddle my thumbs and grind mindlessly away like the drone i am. But after all of these struggles i still can't stop myself from wanting to enter the FORKED TOWER again. And in the end i still LOVE the FORKED TOWER!
P.S. Oh boy you love to see it, people love the FORKED TOWER so much that there is a forum thread now with all the appreciation for it. #BORKED TOWER

Again what you write is cool and all, but the fact of the matter no one is obliged to raise someone that not in their party, It's not like roulette cause you don't go into the duty matched with random players, you are inside the party/group you were with when you were still in south horn instance.A Fru kill party is a static group. No one has a right to be in your group. But Forked Tower is more like a roulette. Random plyers are placed in an instance. They aren't equivalent. In roulette you queue and you get matched inside party with 7 other players, in forked tower you go in solo, you stay solo no party no shenanigans,
What you claim is that if i go into south horn and someone dead on the other said of the map i am obliged to raise them. cause we are matched to the same instance/duty right?
