Yeah. Like his praise is towards the actual design of encounters in the forked tower, but rightly calls out how terrible it is to try and enter it. And even points out the forked tower is going to be a great source of toxicity. Like if some random person you didn't party with joins and then is causing wipes for the party, he suggests you leave that person on the floor dead, no rezs.

His other positives are on the aesthetics of the zone and how the phantom jobs have unique and fun interactions with normal jobs. And he wants to see something like phantom jobs as an actual part of jobs for regular content outside the crescent. Obviously not to the ludicrous degrees like doing 2 million damage off a deadly blow from berserker+warrior, but something that gives customization and fun to how a person plays their job differently from someone else.

EDIT: The other thing he considered a negative was how you can't level your regular jobs inside the crescent. As in his words that is how it would keep the content populated with people.

I think I've pinned down the biggest reason why I don't like OC and it's that you never really feel powerful here because you're forced to keep switching to new jobs to gain more mastery bonus, except most of the jobs have little to no offensive capabilities and supportive effects that are almost strictly useful in forked tower.

Eureka Pyros/Hydatos and Bozja had the soul buffs available as persistent and significant damage boosts right out the gate on top of the extra damage from lost actions.

And yet they are the core reason for how shit this game got content wise. Its only "gimme more Hardcore Stuff" or "I have nothing to grind for 24/7" to get them keep
playing so they can pay their rent. (yes fight me, it would be better to kill x hundred Fates/CE with a 100% ressource dropped for everyone just like Eureka instead of
this Atma Nonsense again). I mean just look how they are sucking Yoshis toes or praising every shit they are releasing combat wise. No wonder Ozma and his Team
"Incompetence" are thinking they are creating hot shit like Chaotic / Forked Tower. There is absolutely no critical questioning during media tours in the slightest.
All are just worried that they arent anymore the hand selected "Speaker of the community" in the future.

And dont get me started about Players who arent capable of doing Savage/Ultimates but are still somehow decent players. Those had to wait almost 12 months after DT release
for this mediocre piece of shit for which they couldnt find an improved version since Bozja got released nearly 5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! years ago.

What the fuck is CBU3 doing in the meantime? How could you greenlight this mediocrity as a producer? Feels like Yoshi needs to spend more time working and getting the shit of his team
together and less travelling around the globe or sitting in high class restaurants.

Yeah I think this is a much bigger reason than people give it credit for. Like those are the people that get invited to the events and who get into Yoshi P's ears from the west. And idk I don't watch his content a ton but from what I do see I think dudes like happy are the worst about it. It really is this. There is basically no overlap between what content creators need to pay their bills, and what regular players need to enjoy the game.

CAR would never have been released in its pitiful state had not a certain someone lobbied the director. Although to be fair, I think most of the "influencers" have enough sense that they wouldn't have actively encouraged the forked tower fiasco.

It's not even the "content creators" (hate that term, the people that make games make content, they are people playing games), especially the ones mentioned in here because they don't care about opinions outside of Japan. Now the fact that the Japanese playerbase is confused/upset by issues with OC might get some changes but the west's opinions are irrelevent to the game.

funny thing is, most of the top content creators are already done farming relic within 1st day of release and beating FT in 3rd day, and by the end of week they already +2 arcanaut all gear slots with their fixed statics of other streamers and ultimate raid helpers, so by next week most of them will start playing aion 2 or other games while u guys suffer trying to do the content using the discord channels trying to join groups, while majority of the playerbase cant even enter FT, its really ironic that the playerbase that wanted to do content cant even do it after waiting for the said content release

When did Xenoxis ever demanded content that is inaccessible for the majority of people, there is nothing wrong with stuff that takes a while to grind for, the problem here is how it literally lock out people from even participating.

It's not even two weeks from the content being out and I think I'm done with it. I got the 500 fates, 500 CE achievements, can get tomes elsewhere. PFs for gold farms are hit and miss, and while the solo farm is fine, usually someone else wants to and then you're fighting for the enemies to kill. I refuse to have to use Discord to even do content, and even then getting a group is unnecessary difficult because the servers for that are difficult to find a party for at all currently. The bunny achievement is so wild even achievement hunters think it's awful.
Yoshi P literally said on the one LL that "people would be spending most of their time exploring OC", and tbh I spent more time crafting and gathering on the moon this patch then anything else.

if Forked Tower was like CLL I probably would have done it a hundred times by now. But I am not going to compete for a spot with 100k people on some discord for the privilege of spending gold to wipe on this. From the streams I've watched it doesn't look like the people who do that are having much fun, anyway.
