    The only reason why we have 10s or 100s of recordings of any given "set piano piece" is because each musician -- each artist, each performer -- brings their own understanding and interpretation to it. At one extreme of this reality, Beethoven Blues comes to mind.

    By contrast, a simple minded robot -- or 8 of them working in concert -- can get you through modern FFXIV encounters, and it's not at all clear to me whether "skill expression" means, or can mean, anything more than "am better able to impersonate said collection of robots."

    They should include that weapon typ to^^

    What would a new weapon do when the skills you get and importantly the underlying combat flow is going to be - once again - the exact same as everybody else's?

    At that point, just add the mace/hammer as a skin for an existing class like for Warrior who already has two of those. Because that's about all the depth SQEX offers with new classes at this point, thin veneers over existing game mechanics with exactly 0 reason for a new class to be added for it. It's so lame, it's not even worth the database rows to index weapons for them on vendors, IMO.

    Tbh for tanks i would mind a proper dual mace or war hammer job but I'd prefer something with chains and hooks. Use them for vaulting freely like en evant, snare enemies, and elemental infusion for not only enhanced attacks like mystic knight but also whirling around the chain spreads elemental shields and buffs to allies
