It's not that I don't understand. A lot of people who play the game have ADHD, so it's not like I've never met players struggling with it and needing to play busy jobs or switch jobs to keep them engaged.

It's just SE shouldn't be expected to necessarily cater the game to specific disabilities at the expense of everyone else.

As for adding accessibility generally, SE and arguably most companies aren't great at that. Because their primary focus is people without all the different disabilities that exist. To be fair, even if they accounted for 20 different disabilities, someone would still say their disability isn't accounted for, so it's a challenging thing even if they do bother.

SE aren't known for responding or barely acknowledging a lot of the posts here, so how you worded the original post isn't really relevant anyway, providing it's within the forum rules.

Yet they do the reverse for the lazy dumb shits playing the game who won't do anything and dumb down and remove things from every job for dumb people expecting one or2 jobs that does meet the need doesn't effect everyone lol, if they cant do that then they just dont play those jobs, I mean I'm pretty even my cats could play the design on jobs perfectly I might record it after I get them some cat nip to put on the keyboard to keep their interest lol


I mean really vast majority of player base doesn't even know what a prime number is without help 2nd grade basic math people are 2 stupid to do in the game that is just... sad not even complexity just basic math lol

Nevermind the fact that in reality one is a prime number, which will mess people up because some mathematician in the game decided that it's not. And you wouldn't know that unless you read the notes scattered around the raid. Secondly knowing basic math is one thing, knowing how that applies to mechanics is another. Also I want to add that kids play this game too. I just don't understand the vitriol here. not bait just because it makes you feel bad, its the truth period its a struggle to stay aware when playing the GAME becauses it so dumb to combat pve wise requiring 0 brain processes leading to zoning out and disassociating, its sad when a party IQ of 8+ people only adds up to 80 at most, you get on a game to play A GAME which requires somethings requiring some basic engagement lol

learn something new everyday. It's literally what I learned in school. And when it comes to pedagogy sometimes the earlier lessons are made simplest before getting into more advanced subjects. For example, when i looked up prime numbers after seeing your comment, the definition is not what I was taught in school. And my life doesn't require that i know that one is not a prime number. So when I saw it in game I assumed this was an in world logic.

To be honest, I cared, because I felt really bad for all the players that did not even understand 25% of their job, and were not on course to understand it much better by max level. It felt like it helped turn away players due to them finding the game too hard. And no doubt SE thought the same thing.
It's one thing to not be perfect on a microscopic level that can only be seen through those methods, and another for it to be so massively noticeable that you just have to look at what buffs they have in the party list, visibly look at how fast enemies are dying or visibly look at their casts or summons to see a major problem.
The problem really is that for many jobs are actually an aesthetic choice even if they find them hard to play. So I'd rather they just make each job have two or more difficulty settings that they can adjust.

...But this is still a problem even now. We still have ice mages and curebots at level 100.

It doesn't matter how much you oversimplify job design. Bad players will still find a way to be bad because they simply do not care to improve. It's time to stop pretending that SE need to make the game shit to accommodate people who aren't interested in learning how to play it.

Casual content barely requires people to have even a basic understanding of how their jobs work. Why are we trying to make jobs so simple that they can be understood by people who don't care to understand them?

Why are we more worried about the hypothetical players who may leave if jobs/content is too complex instead of the 66% of the playerbase that has left because they're bored with the current state of the game?
