This may be bad now by many accounts, but it used to be far worse when the capability for rotation failure was higher. It was hard to watch how bad it was sometimes - you had tanks spamming 1 button or using sub-optimal combos in sub-optimal stances, or Summoners using the wrong summons so that their damage wasn't good, etc. This meant that by the end of the MSQ, a lot of players still weren't good enough at their rotation to try out end-game content and it was hard to watch, whereas now they are far more likely to be.

You could say "well highlight it for new players". But that's what happens on MNK and DNC and VPR already. And highlighting it thus makes it easier.
It doesn't have to work for the masses, that's the point of a game have multiple jobs is some things are not supposed to be for everyone, it is 100% irrelevant if someone is 2 stupid to play one job if they can play another 8+ jobs that don't require some focus and brain cells to use.

Also if a lot of new players don't like that who gives a damn, there will be people who need and will do that so its irrelevant that some /many not to sound mean, but its completely irrelevant how many does something when a point of a game having multiple different roads is that some roads are not meant for everyone.

Without the possibility of failure within your rotation you might as well be a bot, with the job design

Having some jobs or w/e that new players will suck at it unless they are smart and can learn complexity is fine making learning the enemy is just horrible for everyone. If they don't want to guess what they don't have to play those jobs with that high complexity and learning, engangment
