[Request] More Au Ra representation on next expansion?

Late to this, it's my understanding that there are no Au Ra in Alexandria because those who are not originally from Alexandria and it's kingdom died in the electrope war. We do see the 9th (supposedly) in Living Memory. It's likely because they weren't apart of the Alexandian kingdom, they got shut out from the barrier and very likely died. At least that seems to be the implication at any rate.

I just want a MALE au ra character in the msq that isn't a complete joke. Either they are comic relief like Magnai, or irrelevant like Ahewann, or a meme like Nabhdeen. It's so tiresome and honestly feels like the devs hate male au ra for some reason.

Sidurgu in the Dark Knight class quests come pretty close to what I want in terms of balancing seriousness and lighthearted moments, but he is trapped forever in side content and thus it's 100 % possible to play through the game without knowing he even exist.

I think if we had a new cast of characters, we could have maybe a new aura character who shows up in the story. I'd hope that if we get some aura characters we would get one of a main role, though I'd also be pretty happy with we got a moon cat (sun cats always the favourite)

Problem is that the game currently just wants the scions to be in everything, so theirs hardly room for new characters I really want a new cast in general I'm so sick of having the same old cast with one or two new characters.

honestly in DT it make sense to not see them after all not all race are everywhere really and most are tied to lore. we didn't see alots of Au Ra in HW and they were released there like yes there is some but not alots

Hello, hopefully this post won't come up as too dumb for even asking.

But i really wish next expansion would try to include more Au Ra NPCs into the main story, as i feel they've been kinda under represented, or worse, most of the ones that appear throughout quest die.


-Yugiri was the first Au Ra character to appear in the story, but her relevance to the MSQ is very minimal most of the time, and in Stormblood, she sadly doesn't tag along with us that much despite a lot of the promotional art giving her a big focus.
-Most Xaela characters are usually relegated to the Azim Steppe, having only very sparce instances of Xaela NPC outside it.
-The sorrow of Werlyt had a big focus Au Ra NPCs, but sadly, it came at the cost of having to see most of them die
-Ahewann is initially shown as a possible important Au Ra NPC, and one in a leading position too! Which was exciting, but sadly, he dies too.
-One could count Varshahn, but to be honest it feels like a cop-out answer as hisbody is just a vessel and not actually an Au Ra

Now Dawntrail has a big focus on a region where there isn't a single Au Ra to be seen, which while i can 100% understand, i think it's a shame we don't have a single recurring Au Ra character to hang out with. So my hope (or wish) is that hopefully in the post-MSQ or simply the next expansion, more Au Ra characters can be presented to give representation of the race. As the few ones we have either have been written out of the story like Yugiri, or have been killed.

Mind you, this is not a criticism towards Dawntrail for their complete lack of them, but just my wishful thinking as i am a huge Au Ra nerd and i kinda wish we were given more love in the MSQ

Aura's to my knowledge get a good enough focus in Stormblood there's that under-sea village in Ruby Sea and Azim Steppe.

The race I'm actually more interested in is Roegadyn and the Warrior Lore as a whole as the two are linked.

From the Azim Steppe, which is in Orthard.
Both the Raen and Xaela come from there originally, but the Raen kinda left and ended up spreading to other places on the continent meanwhile the Xaela are still more heavily centered in and around the Steppe.


But there's really no Au Ra population at all in Tural. I guess they just never ended up there and Alexandria didn't have any Au Ra either.
