As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
They have been using the classic WHM red-and-white colour scheme as generic healer colour scheme all along, though I'm trying to think if there's anything quite so blatantly WHM-styled.
Meanwhile, everyone else seems to be stealing what should be perfect RDM gear. First the Rinascita DPS design, then healers in Yuweyawata, now the ranged tome gear is taunting us.

Does someone just used weaponry at distance to specifically attack the WoL instead of vainly trying to defeat them in a fight ?

They've always had them WHM-coded for lack of a better term, but they never used the red triangle strips outside of AF gear from memory. Healers have been neglected for 3 expansions now and this needs to be rectified with the following:
- An engaging DPS kit beyond a nuke and DoT.
- Increased incoming damage so we have more to heal.
- Distinctive playstyles amongst the healers.
- Some nerfs to non-healer heals, we shouldn't be replaceable.

Is it confirmed to be the tomestone gear? We are getting a new dungeon, I believe, so I thought it would be from there
They have already stated that that they are nerfing Pictomancer, assuming that is the job you mean.
According to unofficial translations from the Reddit discord, they are the tome gear sets.
