Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think basic customization options should be locked behind high-end content that becomes obsolete in a matter of weeks - or if you’re lucky, months - without any alternative way to obtain.

Honestly, even dyeable Savage gear from previous expansions should be exchangeable for normal raid tokens at this point. Nobody cares about it anymore anyway.

You can always do maps for a while and buy it at the MB if you are so eager to get it. It's not like you can wear 5 hairstyles at the same time. If they wanted to fix that issue they could and people should ask for that, but I guess doing anything in the game, even the most simple of tasks, is too much for the average player.

I would understand if this was a new original hairstyle, but an already existing one?

But this is SE and CS3, it's not like they didn't put existing in-game assets into the online store previously...

I don't disagree, but this game has consistently put NPC cosplay stuff on cash shop, and people still happily buy them, so there is no reason to expect otherwise from them.

Not sure why people can't imagine a possible in-between of "shop item" or "chaotic reward". Why not put it at the end of a new dungeon or raid? Anything.

Not really the point I’m making, but sure, let’s entertain the thought.

What happens a couple of expansions down the line when the current chaotic raid is deader than dead and there’s no other way to obtain it? Not even on the Market Board.

It’s wild to me that some people think there should only be one way to get items.

Sure, make it expansion-exclusive and allow them to be non-character bound when obtained through raids so they can be sold.

But not making them obtainable after the content enters legacy phase through some other means? That’s just bad design.
