Probably will based on precedent, but it's possible it would be a bit much with all the other stuff (like savage) coming out at the same time, so they could delay it to not overwhelm everyone.

savages are unnecessary difficult

The second tier is always intended to be harder. And they underscaled the first tier more than intended. So at least expect it to be harder.

SE has been attacked for not having enough grinds causing people to be bored, and you expect that they won't add one? The only other thing they'd likely do is make it something you finish in one day.

neither of those two have the makings of a ruler, it should have gone to bakool ja. He seams to have the martial prowess, character depth, maturity, and cultural awareness to lead. he would also be easier for people to accept as king because hes been working very hard to repent for his past actions

The release of Chaotic Raids was what finally shattered any delusion I had about the developers or community, that I had been playing the wrong game for the wrong reasons this whole time, and the stalker mod pissed on the remains.

It has this effect for a lot of us sadly.. I knew this community was rough but CODCAR exposed the real depth of it

Unfortunately this also marks the end of me playing MMOs in general, since this was pretty much the last one that seemed worth playing, and yet it ended up the way that it did.

I would say that you might still be able to enjoy XIV. perhaps just at the X.5 patches when there is a lot of content for you to do. you'd have to take 3 year breaks from the game, tho to make this function.

On and off, I've been unsubbed for several weeks, subbing every other month, but the main thing that drove me away was how gatekeeping and overly protective of the game the community was, where conversation about what could be improved upon in the game, or elements they disliked, would have one or two extremely loud people would scream until blue in the face, inject themselves into every conversation like they were dying and kick and scream until all conversation ceased.

This combined with Yoshi-P's interviews regarding the direction and state of the story and game didn't give much hope. I can't fault the guy, he's been one of my favourite devs if not my most favourite dev in the last 10 years until recently and I will remember him for those years, but the most recent interviews have been so sterile, manufactured and corporate, and the complete opposite of what I admired him for.

What is the reason you're still subbed?

As others already said: I'm subbed because I have fun. MMOs are my home away from home experience where I can dabble around a while, without having to care about all the stuff that plague the real life. For 15 bucks a month I do not expect them to be a life changer, just a fun bit of killing time.

Because i still enjoy the game and there is still a lot to do, ofc if you only do 10% of the game then you have nothing to do anymore and get bored so maybe expand your view and taggle on everything else in the game

The main reason why i keep subscribing to FFXIV is the personal housing that i able to get 1-2 years ago and i'm not going to give it up for long time because it took me around 9-10 years to get a personal housing and yes i have being trying to get a personal housing since patch 2.38 when personal housing got added to the game.

And of couse i keep doing some daily and weekly stuff and there is still some stuff i still like in FFXIV even the patch 7.0 have being complete mess and i have being playing FFXIV less for few months now.

I don't like the general direction of the game anymore, from the simplified combat system, MSQ pacing and structure, abandoned content, glamour issues and they don't seem to be fixing them anytime soon. I just come back for the free login because in small doses it's ok (but not worth paying for) and I still have all Endwalker content that I bought but never tried, so might as well do that and see the end of the story.

As much as the game has declined over the years, don't think the gane is irredeemably bad, and I would rather play this than whatever western AAA slop is coming out. I do login from time to time to do stuff like Baldesion's Arsenal or Crystaline Conflict, or level up an alt job a bit.

I like the game, simple as that. Maybe it's because i just run around and play things, regardless of outdated content or not. Or because i'm playing the game not as long as other people (started in may last year).
