Can we get an official FFXIV account on Bluesky

Way too much back and forth for something with a simple solution.

To the people bringing politics into it... why? Twitter has been political for years and none of you all were complaining about FF14 being there, whats the problem with it being on bluesky which is just as if not more political as Twitter?

To the people complaining about an echo chamber... huh? This is an echo chamber you're already in.

Is it not possible to use a platform to follow things related to FF14 without someone going "but muh political stance..." it personally wouldn't hurt anyone here or anyone anyone here knows if FF14 had a bluesky account anymore than anyone is hurt from their twitter account.

The owner of the website was involved in the formation of a currently existing governmental department, openly supported the current US president during the last election, and was physically present in the inauguration, including his own speech and a... questionable arm gesture, if anyone is "draggin politics" into this, it's him, we are just forced to deal with the consequences, and trust me when I say I wish I didn't have to.

Also doesn't help that he is basically quadrupling down when it comes to the allegations.

bluesky is just a political statement against twitter. and while im happy it exists, its not worth a company to completely overhaul their community team for.

That's not what is being suggested. OP is simply requesting there be an official FFXIV account on BlueSky, too, which I'm all for. Capcom did it, Monster Hunter (a Capcom game) did it, Square Enix did it, etc. They can still be on that other site as well.

As the title says, can we get an official FFXIV account on Bluesky? "X" isn't exactly a great platform and I don't feel like using it (or any Meta owned platform while we're at it) to have an official feed. Having the choice to follow on Bluesky would be great for those of us not wanting to support one of Elon Musk's businesses.

I can't understand internetpeople today. Back in the old days without social media you got flamed for whatnot in chats and games and no one cared about because no one felt personal attacked by a random stranger on the internet. People should stop feeling more important than they are.

Thanks i'm from the OG region of that "gesture" and even today its a giant drama if some drunk teen does it out of an bad joke, like everyone even just mocking it intents to start the third reich... neither is this Marvel and some secret organization is lurkin in the shadows to bring em back...
