How on earth is it a "lazy second"? It's an alternate shirt of a similiar design. Do you only own one t-shirt because any other t-shirt is a "lazy second" to the first one you have?

As I said, it's lazy because it's merely a slight variation. While you get two unique shirts for the Streetwear set, you only get one shirt in two versions with Leisurewear. It's a perfect reflection of SE maximizing their revenues. Minimal effort, maximal profit.

I wouldn't say anything if this was sold for the price of one outfit. Don't understand why people defend everything SE does.

Also, this is not a real life wardrobe, it's pixels, so your comparison is nonsense. I can't dye my shirts in RL in every color of the rainbow like I can do in the glamour dresser.

It literally fits into a whole chunk of the game though? By definition, it's not "entirely" out of place.

S9 has a cybertech vibe, this is literally just the same sweatpants and ripped tee look you'll find loitering on any fast fashion outlet's shelves IRL. There's nothing "fantasy" about it. Having a more futuristic world in-game isn't an automatic pass for throwing in anything that vaguely constitutes "modern."

They can justify anything now that S9 exists.

This probably was the thought process behind it, though. I won't argue that.

Not even remotely the same issue at hand and you know it. They made two separate versions of a top that already wasn't going to be genderlocked, to inflate the already ridiculous prices of mogstation sets.

7.1 was November 11th so 7.2 will probably be either March 11th (since it's a Tuesday) if they stick to a more exact 4 months, or March 18th if they had a week off for holidays. We'll have a closer approximation once we see when the first part of the 7.2 Live Letter is scheduled.

For the OP, not my cup of tea and if it was then kind of pricey for something not account wide so I'd probably still pass.

The problem with this is that we have so much gear "themed for S9" compared to any of the other cities. They have loads of variety themed to them while other cultures have to scrape together outfits that probably previously belonged to something else.

Well, in the last month and a bit or so, we have gotten:
- Leisurewear (10/01/2025)
- Heavensturn minion resale (27/12/2024)
- G'raha's Armor/Weapon/Hairstyle (16/12/2024)
- King of Leonis/Queen of Hourne (02/12/2024)

This doesn't include the housing items and furnishings, like the wine coupe tower, the other saint's outfit that kind of float somewhere in between all of those releases too, but we have been getting things cycled into the cash shop every 2 weeks as of late, perhaps it's a time where people are more likely to splurge on the cash shop?

Oh well. I like the pants and hat, but I also don't want a top that makes me look like the victim of a lawn mower attack either.

There is a certain difference between Sci-Fantasy kinda aesthetic, and our real life modern aesthetic.

Personally speaking, I don't mind a Fantasy scifi kinda approach, see the late allagan PVP armors, the tactical outfits, or as an example outside of the game, Phantasy Star Online looks. Thats the kind of vibe we find in S9 too, imho. Whats destroying (my) immersion is seeing outfits that we all could find in a current year fashion magazine.
