Minor NPCs you'd like to see more of

Who are some minor NPCs you'd like to see more of, whether it be in the MSQ or in sidequests? How would you like to see them utilized? You don't need to limit yourself to Dawntrail or the MSQ. Even if they're exclusive to sidequests and haven't appeared since several expansions ago, feel free to comment with them. I'm curious to see who people pick.

As a warning, I will be expecting spoilers in here, so don't look if you aren't up to date with the MSQ. I will comment with my own answer at some point, and I can't explain it without mentioning some events from 7.0 and possibly 7.1.

Edit: Okay, because I see a lot of people replying with characters I don't really consider to be minor, I should probably be more specific about what I mean. I don't consider characters who used to have a major role in the MSQ but haven't been relevant in a while to be minor characters. When I say minor characters, I'm referring to characters who have always played a relatively minor role in the MSQ, or who are mostly exclusive to sidequests and have never appeared in the MSQ in a major way.

The functionally have a (mostly) living ancient freely walking around who functionally has the same general goals of exploring and appreciating the world as the WOL does who is also good friends with the WOL and they pretty much never use him except as an NPC that occasionally shows up in events to give a pointless line of dialogue

I've always felt it would add flavor if recognizable NPCs turned up in high traffic areas occasionally just doing regular things. Half a dozen bunnies from Rak'tika shopping for shoes in Sapphire Avenue, for example.

- Ditch the Scions for a while and adventure with the former Crystal Braves.

Here's a scenario I would love.

You get whisked to another shard or Meracydia, somewhere unknown that doesn't have contact with the world as we know it. You tackle it with a representative from each major city state on a semi-diplomatic mission.

New character - Ul'dah
New character - Limsa Lominsa
Gosetsu - Doma
NOBODY from Sharlayan, or the writers will use it as a crutch to be like "Oh its a new place, but I read about it in a book and know everything."

Honestly, just mix it up a bit, though even the Scions could feel fresh if they started having arguments and acting like properly written characters again. Instead of exposition dumpers and handy instant solutions for all our problems.

Surprisingly, Cevilia Laurasquin. Just because that little corner of Ishgard was woefully underutilized, especially after the chocobo-related quests around Bentbranch gave us all those lines about how Ishgard was the center of top chocobo training.

Forseer K'lyhia and K'rhid, the actual Guildmaster of the Arcanist Guild. I've been wanting to see what the two of them have been up to since ARR and it kinda sucks we haven't run into them not once since.

The Grand Sers. Maybe work them into the first or second step of the relic quests (I really hope that each step is like two steps- the bozja relics were near perfect), and you get flashback duty/gameplay and a ton of lore from their younger days among some grinds. People already had to complete Hildibrand to get Endwalker relics which apparently had a high acquisition rate across the playerbase. Asking the 'minority of story-cap players who haven't done EW relics', just to complete the HW arc of Hildibrand in order to start DT relics, isn't a big ask I don't think. Also it may be a good idea to add some Heavensward flavour to the game in these troubled times. It looks like relic steps will be tied to a certain obvious character already though. But the Grand Sers could be written to turn up and bring some new mayhem (good and bad) to Tural easily. Show us their genuine badass side (and whether they are working with, or against us, could change at points during the relic arc?), but throw in some comedic moments that don't diminish their characters and spoil it. Might be a good chance bring back 'mystery' to the game aswell.

Miah Molkot, the cute ruffian miqo'te from Gridania who is in some ARR quests and Starlight 2019.

Also, the elezen standing in the back of the cutscene where you fight the scion B team in post-ARR, caught my eye recently. Were just called an experienced adventurer or something and had no actual name yet.

Hoary Boulder has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I'd love to see him in a quest or something, even if it's just side content. Honestly, I'd love to know what that whole group has been up to since we saw them at the end of EW.
I also rather liked the Moon Keeper lad they introduced a couple of Risings ago. I'd love to see how he's come along, and what he's been up to.
And when ever we get ourselves off to the main part of the 13th, I hope the Role Quest crew from the Crystarium have a larger role to play. I miss hanging out with Lue-Reeq and Giott.
And if we had a side quest in Eulmore with Dulia-Chai and Chai-Nuz, I'd be tickled with that too.

Another NPC I really connected to from the Crystarium was one that had such a small set of roles, but the fact that she noticed how spread thin and spent we were becoming during ShB, and how much she expressed concern for our well-being, made me fall in love with her character. That would have been the elderly elf from Spagyircs, Chessamile.

There are so many great minor NPCs, I could make an entire list of ones I would love to see pop up again.
