i kinda want the community to take a stand against picto brokenness and just not indulge in the job. because rn picto has killed all the ranged and all the casters. and this goes against XIVs job design.

but what is they say again? if you want to test a mans character give him power?

No thanks, happy picto main and love the job after for me scholar and warrior were ruined for me. Totally understand that FRU needs fixing but then I am not a savage/ultimate player. Jobs throughout the games time has suffered due to meta or the favourite. Leave the job alone.

A potency nerf wouldn’t change how it plays. The fact is that atm there is a balance issue and it’s frustrating when you want to play another caster and some groups just want picto and nothing else.

I am happy for it to remain as-is. Red mage and Summoner have had to suck it up due to BLM so let picto have its time. Other jobs have had to suffer being left out of groups and we all had to deal with it.

If Pictomancer is not touched next week when Chaotic drops, I'm going to unsubscribe as that's the day my subscription this month runs out. I'll hang up my BLM rod permanently as FFXIV no longer will have any needs at all for any other Caster jobs except the new overpowered Splatoonmage.

Seems some people like to be contrarian. Bringing Picto back in line with the rest won't further break the balance compared to bringing everyone up to them. Playstyle would be the same as others said but also open up for those of us that are not a fan of the silly painting, like i enjoy black mage personally for it's visuals. I'm not even at end game but have seen threads on here, youtube videos talking about it, reddit and so on. Weren't it even picto that made Square have to buff threat for tanks due to how much burst they had available?

(Titlle is obviously a silly remark. Pictomancers are getting well paid for their carries in current content, and soon in the chaotic raid content)

Today as I was doing Ultimate on PF (practices) It broke my heart several of times when casters tried joining. Every day now for a week I pay VERY close attention to OTHER caster recruitments (recruitments made by blackmages especially) Their PT unfilled every day hours upon hours I felt so horrible I try to cheer them on in tells. This is PURELY because nobody want to join their PT as they are NOT playing pictomancers. No longer do I see redmages in sight, Summoners are also forced to change their jobs. When casters joined and asked "Can I have D4?" (For EU/NA players this means M2 which is JP's fixed caster position) every time they are told to leave "That seat is for pictomancers only. Please leave." And I got mad at one point "Can you not rely so much on Pictomancers!?" But they wouldn't have it. "It's my PF and I want to make progress and not get stuck on enrage" it's utterly selfish and this UNBALANCED JOB ISSUE is becoming a COMMUNITY issue. I want to see back my redmages, summoners and Blackmages, I am sick of seeing them sit in recruitments with NO people participating for playing a job that isn't their main. Can I also mention that recently WARRIORS are taken off of recruitments and some starting to recruit "PLD/GNB" and the other tank as only "DRK" for the extra DPS??

Please give Warrior some of Picto's power and put Picto in their SUPPOSED place in their job role. They may be strong still, but this is OVER the top!

I understand where your coming from but a Picto strike won't happen, anyone who refuses to play Picto will only remove themselves from the potential of getting a raid spot, it's only up to SE to balance this abomination of a job otherwise the Picto army will only grow.

I don’t understand your reasoning. It wouldn’t change a single thing for you since you don’t do any of the harder content, including ex…there is not even materia in your caster set.

I think they already did the patch, chaotic is added it's just not active.

Yeah they had to increase tank Threat generation due to PCT burst and aoe damage is so wild.
And PCT is also the reason for the chance to Limit Break gauge generation to stop groups from just stacking multiple PCT.

That kinda shows how poorly and wildly overpowered this one Job is. And because they raised all other jobs damage to try match PCT, they didn't have time to rebalance the Savage bosses making the tier easier than they planned.

PCT is broken and has been allowed to run free for 6 months now. Time to fix this issue now before Chaotic. I bet all the parties will skip Limit Breaks and just put 12 PCT in the 24 man groups to obliterate the fight xD
