I personally feel they still should change how they are written, "Leveling Dungeon (Lv. 51-59, 61-69, 71-79)" and "High-level Dungeons (Lv. 50, 60)" would be substantially more clear than what we have now, and remove any unintended implications without needing people to understand idiosyncrasies of how the game phrases itself.
I'm over here asking myself 'Why did they even see the need to change it at all?' If every role has to DPS, then every dungeon still gives experience and is thusly 'leveling'.
lmao
make a bug report and see if SE thinks it's intentional or not
SE has always considered leveling dungeons as any that aren't 50/60/70/80/90/100 because that's made evident by the Leveling roulette. It's not completely obvious unless you have enough experience doing the roulette and noticing that you never get expansion cap dungeons. So SE has defined what a "leveling dungeon" is but hasn't necessarily made it clear to new players.
They just didn't have a term for expansion cap dungeons, so they just called the roulette Level 50/60/70/80/90 and it was getting out of hand. So they created a name "High-level" and defined that as the opposite of leveling dungeons. This isn't necessarily clear to new players, but at least it's explained in the description that it's specifically 50/60/70/80/90.
I just get it because I've played since ARR and it was especially obvious then that leveling roulette meant all the dungeons below the level cap and the others didn't.
I think the change did need to happen. I just think the terms used for it could be better or at least explained more visibly. Such as listing the level ranges for the leveling dungeons in the description like is done for high-level roulette.
Once people understand the roulettes, the similar terminology in WT will be more clear.
You're missing the point.
The issue isn't that they've merged, but that in the process of the merging, Castrum and Praetorium – level 50 dungeons which were eligible for the old "Dungeons (Lv50)" stamp – are now not eligible for the "High-level Dungeons (Lv50-60)" stamp that it was merged into.
Nothing has changed besides the MSQ roulette getting left out. You used to have separate stamp opportunities for level 51-59, level 61-69 and level 71-79 – none of them included the level X0 dungeons, which had their own separate stamps, and now they've been grouped up by dungeon type rather than pure level.
"If every role has to DPS" has nothing to do with it. Levelling and ex-endgame dungeons are just treated differently for some reason. Treating them the same would be a change, but you're complaining against perceived change, so I'm not really sure what you're aiming for.
Wait MSQ doesn't count for 50? For real? Ugh...I hate these khloe changes, let me have my ARR extremes back as well.I also discovered this today. The description used to be just "level 50" but now it's along the lines of "level 50-60 in the high-level dungeon roulette" so apparently – whether by error or intent – the MSQ roulette dungeons don't count because they're not in the high-level roulette.
"We heard player feedback, so now we've created a new 'High Level' tab in the duty finder to make the distinction clearer"
If you disagree with that, please go to Bug Reports, make a post, and see if this is actually intentional or not.
Also, you're guaranteed 2 HW Extremes, and usually 1 SB, 1 ShB, and 1 EW Extreme.
If you're in post-Stormblood and have overlevelled up to 100, you can still get those 9 stickers by doing the 2 HW Extremes and 1 SB Extreme, an Alliance Raid, a Normal Raid, 2 Dungeons, a Map Dungeon/Deep Dungeon run, and some PVP. Or you can use some of the Second Chance points that you're stacking up as you go through the MSQ to make yourself eligible to get a point from something you've done before.
I think it either checks if you did the MSQ? or like you said have Lv100 (not sure) and now your Khloes are pretty much more annoying to fill. I have an alt that is in DT but hasn't finished the MSQ/hit cap and I am still getting ARR exs in it. It feels like a pointless change, do they genuinely think that people would run EW extremes for khloe...If you disagree with that, please go to Bug Reports, make a post, and see if this is actually intentional or not.

3 weeks in a row I got Bismarck and nothing else.
I'm sure they'll slap a 'works as intended' on it due to their really scuffed changes. It's already extremely annoying to get just 1 line...
