Can we boycott MSQ cutscenes till SE get rid of Wuk Lamat?

Considering Yoshida was insisting recently that we just didn't understand how great she is, they'd probably just start making more cutscenes unskippable. Loving Garfield, Warrior Princess is not optional.

This isn't about not liking Wuk Lamat if you don't like her w/e. But let's be real, I highly doubt Square Enix cares all that much if you're hitting skip on cutscenes which plenty of players do already. It might be more impactful if players stopped engaging with the MSQ overall but at that point it's more cost effective and practical to just not play and save yourself the money.

Dawntrail's story was already written back when we were still playing Endwalker, maybe earlier. They're not going to undo a bunch of completed work and delay patches by several months to do rewrites and make new cutscenes because people are unhappy with a particular character. Lyse didn't get a very warm reception either and yet we were stuck with her for the rest of Stormblood, so expect the same for Wuk Lamat.

They were redoing chunks of 6.0 up until early access because they weren't satisfied with it. The scene with Emet and Hythlodaeus in Ultima Thule was redone and the dialogue recorded in the 2 week delay, so I don't buy that the patches are set in stone. Lyse was also absent for most of 6.X because the focus shifted to loose ends in Doma and the leadup to Shadowbringers. DT ended with no visible plot hooks beyond the discontent in S9, which they are apparently already addressing.

Really only the patch dungeons, everything else is usually just the x.0 MSQ.

You can boycott if you want. She's probably not going to be around much after 7.3. They confirmed this expansion is a return to "3 cleanup patches, then a buildup to the next expansion".

This post is why we really need to teach critical thinking in schools.

Grow up. Was Wuk Lamat a good character? No, it could have if she was written better. As she is, she is the symptom of everything that goes wrong with DT writing. But can the community stop acting like 5 years old that ate too much sugar for 5 minutes when it comes to that matter.

I have been observing you in all treads. The game for you is perfect an absolute gift of god. You always throw away any criticism about the game, so im not interested in your opinion.

We pay this game so we are allowed to criticize it as much as we want. U know, Yoshida asked us to not jump ship and i dont want to, so im trying to make the developer team to understand ppl dont like Wuk Lamat character, regardless of their efforts to throw her at us.
