That would require them to read feedback, espcially from NA and the EN community, which they rarely acknowledge issues that JP doesn't complain about.I wish they'd just address the state of the game, and the problems they are currently facing internally in the live letter. A little transparency would go a long way. It really seems like they might be super short staffed if the content is this dry. If Yoshi came out and told us "I've read all of the feedback, I know the content isn't as much as we used to put out but actually a lot of the funds are being used by SE for other stuff and we're trying to get a bigger budget to hire on more folks to create the quality the fans are used to. I hope to have updates for you by X date so please hand in there until then." I'd have a little more respect for him. But this live letter was another insult to our intelligence and a spit in the face.
It's really simple my dearest fren, chaotic raid is an attempt to make the game more appealing to WoW players (massive battle vs a big enemy with more people without trash mobs) AND help streamers hype their audiences. That's it.
hope is the first step on the road to disappointment
You know what? JP forums have been complaining about the same stuff as us but the forum moderators over there delete a lot of threads that have been popping up. I used translators to read their side of things and I saw a few comments mentioning that it was "oddly quiet these days" after critical feedback about 7.0 lol
Never thought i would see the day when going 4 times to the movie theater alone would propose a better time/money value than subbing 4 months to a mmorpg that is supposed to be one of the best of its gender ... and here we are.
Imagine experiencing end expansion content drought 2 months (let's be generous) after release and now we are 4 months in, this is absolutely ridiculous![]()
Doesn't help that we had 6 months of drought leading up to DT (very little that wasn't 20 min/day or week if you weren't a raider), then the normal and barebones 7.0 and 7.1 each lasting 4 months. When 7.25 finally arrives with the exploration zone we're looking at something like 10 months in DT, plus the 6 months from EW.Never thought i would see the day when going 4 times to the movie theater alone would propose a better time/money value than subbing 4 months to a mmorpg that is supposed to be one of the best of its gender ... and here we are.

Wow, literally what he told you to do.He can respect the fact that I will now subscribe one singular month to play all the patch content, instead of subbing all year because I thought my money was going to the game. People really need to, imo, put their foot down if they want the game to change. Your money is not going to additional content or job changes. Hell, your money isn't even going to story at this point. We are going to spend a patch talking about Sphene for godsake.

Actually, you can spend a 1000 pulls on progging the new ult until clear, you can farm the new ex trial 40 hours for 100 mount tokens, the chaotic raid probably also takes a decent amount of hours to unlock all gear and cosmetics.
I will be busy till april
The guy i responded to thinks he's punishing them by not subbing every month, when they are clearly prepared for such. They are far from hurting for money. SE actually spends significant time on testing. If you want to hurt them in the pocketbook you'll have to do better than unsubbing for a few months.

My way to hurt their pocket is by not buying any of their sideproject games, including 16
