I'm not gonna lie. If it's not vocied, I'm going to skip it. So I can't speak on the story of it.
I'm not a fan of the glam. I think I'll end up using the pants, but the majority of it is going in the armoire.

I'm glad that we only had to click one child and the other two were clicked offscreen.
I feel like they should probably just reuse the manor duty every year or something. Even a FATE would be better than this. Events where we don't do anything are not great.
I like the outfit, but it could be improved. Having a tie on the outfit kinda feels like "dark businessman" instead of Halloween. I'd also like a skirt option too. But I think the horns are really cool, and the pants look good. As for the event itself, I didn't mind it. I thought it was quite short and simple, which isn't always such a bad thing, but I like getting invested in the story.
This All saints was really just a fastest track to get us an outfit (which I do like). I think it's the worst event so far. Probably not by much but still. Comparing it to previous events like the all saints where we had to run through totorak or the valentine's day with the buddy dungeon looks very not good for this year.
I really like the outfit itself, particularly the horns because I play Xaela and they'll work well for Oni glamours.
Unfortunately, once again the "event" itself was just talking to some rando characters I couldn't care less about. I wish Yoshi P would take a small page from GW2's events. Maybe not how much grinding it takes to get stuff, but the fact there are tons of events that people can participate in. In GW2 we have Custom Costume PVP events, a PVE "labyrinth" to grind enemies and bosses, jumping puzzles, a Simon Says (Mad King Says) event, Mount Races, and then smaller meta events like finding pumpkins to carve, nodes to collect, NPCs to interact with for items.
Holidays have the opportunity to be a lot of fun but in FFXIV they feel saccharine and hollow, like walking through the "Halloween" aisle in Walmart in mid September.
Complaints of the outfit being too "modern" ring completely hollow to me when this is Final Fantasy, the biggest "anything goes" JRPG series in the planet, if this was a Dragon Quest game, I'd find myself agreeing, but those complaints really feel like people are trying to act like Final Fantasy is a sword-and-sorcery series when it never was, not even back in FF1.
Its horrible now, I dont understand what YoshyP is thinking...The glam looks great and I may have purchased too many floating pumpkins.
But.
The event itself was meh. We didn't anything except a small escort mission. When was the last event that we DID something? When we used to run them over and over to get the currency to turn in for the things? What happened to those? Do people just want to get to the end and get the reward now?

The outfit makes me think of Power from Chainsaw Man. Maybe it's the horns.
Mmmmmaaannnnn it must feel good to complain about something given to you for free an optional....this post gotta be rage bait.
You open the door theres nothing in sight. You close the door wondering whats in sight. But lets be honest its probably gonna just let you down.
I only hate the little wings. I would have prefered them bigger as a fashion accesory, that way I could enjoy the top by itself
